     ark has been looking at her for a bit now , assessing the situation that aura is giving her. she is concerned for the safety of the other girl , more obviously than not , and the redness of her face is easily determinable as worried.  “ why do you comply with his requests . . . ? i don’t know who he is or what he is or--- or what he does , but . . . ”
      “ please don’t mind me asking but . . . how are mechanical aerodynamics different from those of someone or something in the possession of wings . . . ? ” her lips are pursed , brows slightly furrowed at the thought. ark taps her chin with a finger , “ i’m sure they’re much clunkier . . . smellier . . . ”
      “ we could take a walk , if you’d like ? ” she’s trying to cheer him up , maybe even rid him of some of that hurt in his heart. ark keeps her hands to herself , however , despite the urge to reach and gently clasp the boy’s shoulder. she knows what a connection would bring and she is not sure she would like to see that far into his soul just yet.

      “ i see decay like the rest , ” a soft expression. such soft hands could indeed end a life & those gentle eyes have seen more than most. ark is calm when speaking , and she turns her eyes to the devil when the words come spewing from his lips.  “ and you must know decay to see life. what is it like to see the light fade to darkness & then continue to live in those shadows ? do you not wish to see the light again ? ”
