I have a weekly schedule (see below) to divide activity for all my currently active RP blogs. Outside of a few exceptions if I get inspiration for something, I will only be posting for blogs on their scheduled days. You can send me asks, memes, and reply to threads on off days, but I may wait to respond until that blog is scheduled. Note: I’m a night owl, so most of my writing is done between 9PM and 5AM (EST).

"You know, you are kinda handsome when you get all... protective like this. Though you know that you don't need to right? The doctors said that I'm fine, I just need to make sure not to do any strenuous exercises for the next few weeks," Mia replied, her hand brushing against his arm as she sat in bed. There had been an incident at the department, a scuffle with an inmate that had broken out and had led to a few of the staff being injured including herself. "It's not a serious injury."

"I wouldn't even call 'em extremely high, I'd call 'em impossibly high," Luther scoffed. "Nothin' ever pleased her, nothin' was ever good enough. You'd do ten things right, and the one thing you did wrong, she'd harp on that for months." When Mia said he was a kind and caring man, he smiled, despite the stress thinking about Katherine was causing him. "Thanks, baby," he whispered. "I appreciate that. Someday you're gonna be able to call me your husband, that's a promise," he said with a hint of playfulness, though he was no less truthful about it. Mia was a catch, and Luther wasn't letting go.

"Yeah... hopefully someday she'll get bored or tired, or yeah, she'll realize nobody's gonna want a woman who keeps talkin' about her ex all the time. That might actually work, if she realizes it's screwin' up somethin' else she wants. It's gotta affect her before she cares." He nodded when she said his es wans't worth his sadness. "I know. You're right."

He paused for a moment before smiling. "I'm gonna say one more thing, and then that's it for talkin' about her. I'm definitely better now, bein' with you vs. with her. I don't just feel that way, I'm noticin' it in little ways throughout my life. I used to be on antacids around the clock, and my doctor said I was one step away from gettin' stomach ulcers from stress. Now I don't take anything and I'm fine. I used to have more nightmares than I do now. I'm wastin' less energy worryin' about when her next phone or act of vandalism will be and more time lookin' forward to our dates and movie nights. You've... managed to shift my attention and focus away from stressin' about her and more onto happy things. And I know I still have moments, like now, when it comes to the surface again, but... those moments are gettin' less frequent, and it's because of you. So... thank you, baby."

"Dream man? Wow. That's a title I never expected to hold with anyone," Luther said, chucking shyly. "Then you're my dream girl too. You've gotta be, 'cause I love you so damn much." He smiled as she kissed his cheek and he lifted his hand to gently run his fingers through her hair.

Luther grinned cheekily at her question. "Well, first he cracked a joke. He asked um, 'She's not rich, is she?' 'Cause he doesn't want me to date another Katherine either, heh. I told him no, and he said, 'Thank god.' But then he said, 'That explain is a lot.' I guess he's noticed the changes in me too, and he was wonderin' what had my mood so improved. Or who, I should say. So findin' out that I've been happy with you, that already got you some approval points with him. He said he'd like to meet you sometime, if you'd be up for that. I told him I'd talk to you about it, but there's no pressure. He's not gonna give you the third degree or anything, he's just curious. And he doesn't care if I date someone in the station, as long as it doesn't mess with my work or cause a toxic work environment, you know?"

Leigh had woken up before him, her fingers gently caressing his cheek. He looked peaceful, which she loved after everything he’d gone through. (Luther’s main verse)

After the setup to help the Feds catch both Schiller and Andrei, Luther thought that was it for him. If he was ever gonna turn himself in for what he did, the time was now. On some level, he thought he deserved to go away for life, but there was a small part of him, maybe planted there by Leigh, that believed that he really wasn't fully to blame. Maybe if he informed on Andrei to the Feds, they would give him immunity, or at the very least, a reduced sentence. He hoped for that, and he hoped Leigh would forgive him for deciding to turn himself in.

But that wasn't what happened. As the Feds began their bust, she told him to run. Leave. Get out now, while you still can. I'll tell them I don't know where you went. Luther was confused by that. Really confused. The way she was telling him, though... it was almost like she was telling him to save himself, that she didn't want him to go through what her father was about to. It was almost like forgiveness, and with Marta, it was about as close as he knew he'd ever come. If she was letting him go, and willing to lie to protect him, then that was as good as her saying she didn't think he was responsible. If she did, Luther knew she would've stopped at nothing to bring justice down on him, just like she did with her father.

So he left the warehouse, slipping out when no one noticed, and headed back to his apartment. He packed up his whole life, which sadly wasn't all that much stuff, and then called Leigh. Baby, listen... The shit's hit the fan, and I gotta leave town tonight. Forever. Will... Will you come with me? It was kindof a dick move to ask her to give up her life and skip town with him, but... he loved her so much and couldn't imagine his life without her. He had to ask, even if she said no. But she hadn't. Shockingly, Leigh had agreed to leave with him... and the rest was history.

Things had been hard at first. They'd lived at a hotel while Luther looked for work. It was difficult to find employment that didn't require a background check or other such things that might lead back to his criminal record and colorful past, but... eventually he did. They were able to find a small apartment, and although it wasn't much, it was a start. Having Leigh by his side made it all easier, though, and definitely worthwhile.

Luther slept easier now, though the guilt of killing Evan would never really leave him entirely, he knew. But having Marta's sort-of forgiveness and having Leigh with him finally made it seem okay for him to start his life over again. He wanted to go straight, keep out of jail, and just live an honest life. So far... he was doing just that, and it felt good.

He stirred a little, feeling something soft on his cheek. After a little grunt and a few lazy blinks of his eyes, his gaze rested on Leigh's lovely face. "Hey, beautiful," he whispered, smiling. "Mornin'." Waking up to her was the best part of his day. He reached over to lay his hand on her cheek, his thumb rubbing it gently.

Leigh had been so good about guiding and supporting rather than rushing and pressuring when it came to his own recovery journey. There had been long talks about his feelings and things that had happened over the years, crying sessions, cuddling sessions, and just slices of everyday life with her, and through it all, she had been the positive force that kept him afloat. Whenever he faltered, there she was. Sometimes he felt badly that there were so many bad times with him, but Leigh didn't seem bothered by them. Luther's hope was that he could continue to get better and better, and that eventually there would be more good times than bad.

"I mean... I don't think she's a cruel person like that, to dangle freedom in front of me and then take it back just to be mean, no. Definitely not. But... she did lose her husband because of me. Given time to think, maybe it'd bother her that she let me go. Maybe she'd start to feel like he wouldn't be happy with just Andrei sittin' in jail, like she didn't get enough justice for him. That I could see. Maybe she'd feel like she should've been more concerned with gettin' her kids' father justice than with lettin' his murderer go. She wouldn't do it out of cruelty, but I could see her maybe feelin' guilty later that she didn't do enough for Evan." Luther shrugged, having said his piece. He didn't know if this was real reasoning, or just his own guilt rearing its ugly head, but it's what he genuinely thought.

Luther nodded as Leigh told him he was free. For now, he could only think. He swallowed hard. "I know, I shouldn't do that..." he said of worrying about all the possible what-ifs. "I just... I'm so... happy now... and there's times when I feel like either I don't deserve it, or like I'm waitin' for somethin' to ruin it. You know? Like at any moment, that karmic sword of Damocles is gonna drop right on my head."

"My little cheerleader, huh?" he repeated. It was so cute that it made him smile, despite the heavy topic they'd just been discussing. "Maybe I have done a lot, but I still don't think I would've been able to do all of it if I hadn't had you by my side. I really mean that, Leigh. Without you, I would've fallen apart by now." His smile only grew when she insisted upon making him breakfast. "I wanna help. Even if I'm just there cheerin' you on for a change," he said, moving to get out of bed. "I just wanna be near you, Leigh. I guess I'm feelin' a little clingy today. Is that okay?" If it bothered her, he could back off, but right now, he just wanted to hang around her. She helped him feel calmer and steadier.

"Luther.... baby I'm fine, really. I just need to get something to eat is all, then I'll feel better," Wanda reassured Luther, giving him a small smile before another coughing fit took over. She had been feeling like this for a couple days now, though she was sure that it would burn itself out soon. She needed it to, since she hated laying around in bed all day. "I just need some water..."

"Nah, not really. I think it'd be kinda cute," Luther said with a tiny smirk and a glint in his eye. "Listen, after years and years of bein' alone and not even bein' allowed to have a girlfriend, it might sound weird to say this, but... you bein' a little possessive of me makes me feel good. Like... I'm worth bein' possessive about, you know? Like you're really just that into me. It's a nice feelin'." By the time she said she'd let everyone know he was her boyfriend, he was blushing. "Yeah? Awesome," he said, leaning into the kiss on his cheek.

He laughed as she pet his head fuzz now too. "Well, yeah, that is true. Nobody like hair in their mouth when they're tryna kiss stuff, right?" he joked. "So are you," he returned when she called him adorable, letting her settle against her him as he wrapped his arm around her. "Good, that was my goal, to get your mind offa bein' sick for a while. You'll be better before you know it, baby," he encouraged, kissing her hair.

"You know... I'm glad that we're alone right now," Wanda replied with a grin, moving to straddle Luther as she pinned him on the mat, "you are a bad influence Mister."

"I'm a bad influence?" Luther returned with a chuckle. "You're the one sittin' on me, lookin' gorgeous, and tellin' me you're glad we're alone. Now... how am I supposed to take that? Sounds to me like you're the one bein' a bad influence right now." And he loved every minute of it. "I'm glad we're alone too..." he whispered. "But uh... you're gonna have to make the first move, 'cause... you've got me totally pinned here," he said, feigning trying to push back against her hold and failing. "Yep, I can't move a muscle." Really, he could move if he wanted to, but she had him feeling playful right now, so he decided to mess with her a bit.

"I guess so, yeah. It's doin' wonders for me right now," Luther said playfully. He squirmed a bit as she moved her hips again, getting all hot and bothered by the feel of her rubbing up against him. "Not nearly as lucky as I am. The view from up here's much better, trust me," he said grinning at her cheekily. He loved these moments wit her, where they could just cut loose and be playful with each other. he just wished it hadn't started in the common training room where anybody could walk in and see, but... eh, this was happening.

"I'm not even sure wed make it out of the gym, if I'm bein' honest with you," he said with a laugh. "We're comin' in hot with each other right now..." Her helping hand comment made him smirk. "Did you just ask me to help you keep quiet? What, like this?" he asked, placing his hand over her mouth for a moment. "Seems a little medieval to me, but hey, if that's your thing..." he joked, taking his hand away again. "I think kissing you is a better way of keeping us quiet," he said as they resumed, and he lowered himself to pressed against her even more, feeling like he really ought to check to see if anybody was coming, but unable to tear himself away from her...

"Hey Lu, quick question - fancy a little fun rather than going out? Celebrate our six month anniversary of getting our own place?" Leigh asked, giving him a grin, "or we could have a quick one and then go out?"

What Leigh was saying definitely had Luther's ears perking up. She definitely had his divided attention now, that's for sure. "If you wanna stay in and celebrate in our own special way, I'm definitely down for that," he replied, his own grin forming on his lips. "If we're celebratin' gettin' this apartment, the we really should stay in it, right? I feel like that would be the most appropriate." After a second, though, he was laughing. "Or I'm just makin' up excuses to spend the night in bed with you, that could be too," he finally admitted.

"You always make me feel special, baby. I just wanna make sure I return some of that back to you, 'cause you deserve it for always stickin' by me," Luther said adoringly. As she said he might be tempting her if he was a devil, he laughed. "Nah, I'm not slick enough to pull that one off, I don't think. The sexy, allurin' devil thing probably isn't my go-to persona," he joked. "I've just never thought of myself as angelic before, especially compared to you."

"Okay. Sushi boat it is. That sounds really good right about now." Luther whipped out his phone to make the call. He ordered their largest size sushi boat, and some spring rolls and wonton soup for good measure, think they'd make good leftovers for late-night snacks or tomorrow after all the sushi was gone. Giving their address for the delivery, he ended the call, smiling at her. "It's on its way. Twenty minutes, they said." Right just then, his stomach growled with a comical loudness. "Apparently that's too long for my stomach to wait," he said with an embarrassed chuckle.

"I um... I think that I... I like you a lot and I know it might sound crazy but I can't stop thinking about you..." Leigh couldn't look at him, afraid he might not feel the same. (police officer AU?)

"Yeah? Really?" he asked with a surprising amount of boyishness. Luther might have a healthy dose of pride about a lot of things, but he was always shy around the ladies. Talking to a woman he liked was never an aspect of life that he'd particularly excelled at, in his opinion. He always felt like he was going to mess it up. Seeing how tentative Leigh was, though, made him feel a little bit less like he was foolish for being so bashful himself. "I like you too, Leigh. A lot. And... I'll admit, I've... I've thought quite a bit about you too." But...? "I just didn't want to... um... come on too strong, I guess. You've been through a lot and you're really vulnerable right now, and I don't want to take advantage of you. I also didn't want you to think that I expected anything from you in return for stayin' with me, 'cause it's not like that at all. But I... I genuinely care for you."

Luther couldn't help the genuine grin he gave at hearing Leigh say she wanted better things with him. This was good, this was a first step to her voicing what she wanted and moving towards living a better life. And Luther was going to make damn sure that's exactly what she got. She deserved it, and he wanted to give it to her. "I can promise to tell you that, if that's what you want, but I really don't think you can mess anything up. It's not about that. Just be yourself, because I already like you just the way you are. You don't have to worry about doing something wrong, it's a relationship, not a college exam," he joked a little, trying to keep the mood light.

It was so sweet, kissing Leigh. Almost like a first kiss, for all its tenderness and innocence. Luther tried to focus on just making it a pleasant experience for Leigh, because if anyone was afraid of doing something wrong... it was him. He didn't want to scare her away, or suddenly make her uncomfortable on accident. As they nuzzled each other and she brought her hand to his cheek, it was his turn to lean into her touch. He was happy to hear that she'd liked the kiss, his fears of maybe scaring her off allayed for now.

Her question to him then had him grinning. "Yeah... of course I can. I'd love to," he whispered, smiling at her before gently cupping her face and resuming the kiss right where he'd left off. He kept it slow and sweet for now, just wanting to be there in the moment with her and not move things to quickly. Perhaps it was a little deeper than the last, but still in that safe zone of it just being a kiss and nothing else, for now. He knew what she'd been through, and he didn't want to overstep.

"Can I be honest with you?" Wanda's voice was low, given Pietro was asleep in the next room. "I think I like you. More than friends.." (HYDRA AU)

"Yeah, 'course you can," Luther said, immediately wondering what it was she was going to confess to him. When she said she liked him as more than friends, he was genuinely surprised, but his heart fluttered a bit at the thought, nonetheless. "You do?" he asked, smiling like a big dork at the idea. "I know I've liked you that way for a while now," he admitted. "I just... I dunno, I'm older, I'm American, I... I didn't know how you'd feel about me havin' those sorts of feelings for you," he said with a bit of shyness. "Plus I think your brother might beat me up if I told him," he joked with a chuckle.

Luther chuckled. "No, why would lie?" he asked. "I mean it, no one's ever told me that before." He was a little surprised by her surprise. He didn't think he was exactly a GQ model, here, so why would it be that shocking that no one had ever bothered to point out that he was handsome before? And he didn't get how she could downplay herself that much either. To him, she looked like a supermodel. "You're pretty perfect to me," he said, not sure how much that was worth but offering his opinion nonetheless. "Don't worry about bein' shy. I'm shy too. It's not necessarily a bad thing." When she said she just wanted him, his heart fluttered a little. "Yeah? Well, I only want you."

"Okay, duly noted. I'll be sure not to give him too much of a big head about himself," Luther said, chuckling, though he liked Pietro well enough. He thought it was nice, the bond the twins had, and he wished he'd had a sibling to have such a bond with himself. For all he knew, maybe he did have one somewhere, but if he did, nobody had ever told him.

All Luther could think of when Wanda kissed him was... See? You're not shy at all! He was the one blushing, after all. He didn't want to draw attention to that, though, in case it was a sore subject for her. So he just did what felt right, which was to lift his hand to cradle the side of her neck and back of her head as he kissed her back. The longer it wnt on, the more passionate it became, until he finally broke it and chuckled nervously. "Sorry, I... guess I got a little carried away there. It was hard not to wanna kiss you more. You're... you're amazin', Wanda," he said, his blush getting darker.

"Well if it isn't my man in uniform," Mia grinned, tugging Luther into their apartment and closing the door behind them. "I missed you..."

Luther barely had time to grin and chuckle as Mia pulled him through the doorway by the buttons of his police uniform's shirt. He'd just finished a long shift and it was very late. Secretly, he'd hoped that Mia had waited up for him, but her own hours at the station had ended a while ago, so he wouldn't have blamed her for heading to bed before he got home. But the moment he saw her, he lit up despite how tired he was. Coming home to her made even the worst of days better. "I missed you too, baby," he said, coming inside and closing the door, putting his keys and things down on a nearby tables. His hands found her hips and he leaned in to kiss her. "You didn't have to wait up... but thanks for doin' it," he said softly, looking at her adoringly.

Luther hadn't meant to upset Mia, only to reassure her that she'd be informed if something happened, rather than being left to wonder why he didn't come home. But as he saw the furrow in her brow and watched the way she quickly deflected back to positive things, he decided it was better to just let it go. He wasn't about to say that it was an easy conversation to have, but it was a lot easier for him than for Mia. Having been a cop for many years, he'd had a lot of time to think about the possibility of something really bad happening to him in the line of duty, and he'd come to terms with it a long time ago. "Okay. Fair enough," he said, not wanting to argue.

Luther's eyebrow rose at Mia's comment. "Really? You'd rather I hang out in this? Why's that?" he asked, though as soon as he asked it, he started to smile a bit shyly, thinking he might already know the answer to that question. "Well, as long as you don't mind, I guess I'm livin' in these for a bit," he said. As she kissed along his jawline, his eyes slowly closed. "Oh yeah? I do, huh?" he whispered. "I guess I didn't notice because I was too busy admirin' my bombshell of a girlfriend." He grinned and drew her close, his lip finding hers. "You really are a sight for sore eyes to come home to, baby... you know that?"

"Damn right, I will," Luther confirmed. He hated to worry her or keep her up late waiting, but he'd always come home to her. Well, if he was able to. If he wasn't... "But... listen, if anything does happen and I can't make it home, I've told Barry to give you a call, okay? So at least you'll know what's goin' on." He didn't want to upset her, but as a police officer, there was always that possibility that he could be hurt on the job. At least Barry would let her know which hospital to find him at and all that if something did go wrong.

He did appreciate that Mia wouldn't fault him for falling asleep in the middle of them making out, even though he knew he'd feel terrible for it when he woke up. Smiling as she called him adorable and started tugging at his clothes, Luther nodded. It would be nice to get out of his tight uniform after a long day.

He untucked it and his white shirt underneath and unbuttoned the uniform, peeling it back as Mia took it from him. The t-shirt was next, pulled over his head. Then he undid his belt, kicked off his boots, and slipped off his uniform's pants. Once his socks were off too, he sighed in relief, sitting now in nothing but his boxers as he folded up the uniform. "That's so much better," he said. "Do you mind if I just hang out like this for a bit before I slap on some sweat pants and a shirt? It feels kinda nice. This uniform doesn't breathe worth a damn. Freakin' polyester," he said with a chuckle as he set aside the neatly folded pile of clothes and placed his gun, wallet, and belt on the nightstand.

"Yeah, I guess we were," Luther said, smiling so shyly as she giggled. He wasn't exactly a Casanova with regard to the ladies, so he often turned shy around the ones he really liked. "Really? Thanks. i think you're the first one to ever say that about me." Kind and handsome weren't exactly things he heard very often, or at all, in his life, especially after being taken by HYDRA. Then she called him perfect, and his heart practically wanted to leap out of his chest with how good that made him feel. "You're pretty perfect yourself, you know. I mean that. Any man would be lucky to have you, Wanda."

Unbearable? Luther had to laugh at how she described her brother. "Yeah, I get what you mean. But at least he's not a complete asshole about it like some guys are. He's more of a... funny kind of unbearable, I guess. Though, I dunno, I don't think he's even that bad. Then again, I don't spend as much time with him as you do."

He never in a hundred years expected her to ask if she could kiss him, but when she did, he definitely blushed hard. That same shy grin returned. "Yeah, sure you can. I'd really like that." Luther couldn't help but have his eyes linger on hers, loving the expression he saw in them. if anyone had told him a month ago that he'd be sitting here with a beautiful woman wanting to kiss him, a free man and a lot happier than he'd ever been, he would have told him they were crazy. "Yeah? Really?" he asked with a surprising amount of boyishness. Luther might have a healthy dose of pride about a lot of things, but he was always shy around the ladies. Talking to a woman he liked was never an aspect of life that he'd particularly excelled at, in his opinion. He always felt like he was going to mess it up. Seeing how tentative Leigh was, though, made him feel a little bit less like he was foolish for being so bashful himself. "I like you too, Leigh. A lot. And... I'll admit, I've... I've thought quite a bit about you too." But...? "I just didn't want to... um... come on too strong, I guess. You've been through a lot and you're really vulnerable right now, and I don't want to take advantage of you. I also didn't want you to think that I expected anything from you in return for stayin' with me, 'cause it's not like that at all. But I... I genuinely care for you."

When she said she would want to take a chance on a guy like him, it meant a lot to Luther. This woman had been through hell with her previous relationship, so to have her say she was willing to try again with him... that honestly had him feeling rather honored. "Yeah?" he asked with a smile. "Of course I'd wanna take a chance on you, Leigh. You aren't any trouble, not at all. I think you're really sweet, and beautiful, and kind, and I... I'm not only attracted to you, I also wanna make life better for you. I want better things for you, and I think I could give 'em to you, if you'd let me try."

He was surprised when she asked if she could kiss him, but his smile grew, and he was definitely interested. "It's not too fast if it's what you want. I know you've really been through it, and you haven't always had a say in what happens with your previous relationship. So I just don't wanna do anything that you feel forced into doing or that you're uncomfortable with. If we're gonna try to have a relationship of our own, I'll let you set the pace, okay? If you want me to kiss you, then I'm definitely down for that."

Luther didn't usually talk this much about kissing, usually he just did it. But with Leigh, he wanted things to be as non-ambiguous as possible. She needed that clarification and predictability of knowing exactly where he stood and what was going to happen, at least until she got more comfortable with him and in her own skin being apart from David. But since she had asked him to kiss her, he felt he had the go-ahead for at least that right now. Closing the distance between them, he lifted his hands to gently rub her arms before lifting one to her cheek. Smiling softly, he leaned in to kiss her, slowly and tenderly, his thumb rubbing her cheek. When he pulled back afterward, his smile had turned very smitten and a little bashful. "How was that?" he whispered.

"Hey Lu, quick question - fancy a little fun rather than going out? Celebrate our six month anniversary of getting our own place?" Leigh asked, giving him a grin, "or we could have a quick one and then go out?"

What Leigh was saying definitely had Luther's ears perking up. She definitely had his divided attention now, that's for sure. "If you wanna stay in and celebrate in our own special way, I'm definitely down for that," he replied, his own grin forming on his lips. "If we're celebratin' gettin' this apartment, the we really should stay in it, right? I feel like that would be the most appropriate." After a second, though, he was laughing. "Or I'm just makin' up excuses to spend the night in bed with you, that could be too," he finally admitted.

Luther couldn't help but chuckle at how cute Leigh was being. She was like a ray of sunshine in his often dark world. Though, it wasn't nearly as dark as it used to be, nowadays. "I guess you can, yeah, but only if that boyfriend gets to spoil you right back. Those are the rules. I don't make the rules, I just follow 'em," he said playfully. "maybe? We've got kindof an angel and devil thing goin' on here, don't you think? You're definitely the angel of my life, that's for sure."

Getting both pizza and sushi was a tempting idea. "Oh, I don't know, I think you underestimate just how much I can eat," he joked, though with how much he always worked out to maintain his physique for his job with Andrei and now his current one, he did need a to eat a lot of calories. "But okay, let's just do sushi for now," he said, leaning so he could grab his phone out of his back pocket. "You wanna order specific things, or you wanna get like... one of those boat sampler things that just has a bunch of different sushi and sashimi and we can share it?"

"You know... I'm glad that we're alone right now," Wanda replied with a grin, moving to straddle Luther as she pinned him on the mat, "you are a bad influence Mister."

"I'm a bad influence?" Luther returned with a chuckle. "You're the one sittin' on me, lookin' gorgeous, and tellin' me you're glad we're alone. Now... how am I supposed to take that? Sounds to me like you're the one bein' a bad influence right now." And he loved every minute of it. "I'm glad we're alone too..." he whispered. "But uh... you're gonna have to make the first move, 'cause... you've got me totally pinned here," he said, feigning trying to push back against her hold and failing. "Yep, I can't move a muscle." Really, he could move if he wanted to, but she had him feeling playful right now, so he decided to mess with her a bit.

"Oh boy..." Luther said, thinking about Wanda continuing to move her hips like that. Both the actions themselves and the thoughts of them were putting him in that special sort of mood. He liked when Wanda teased him, because she always did so in good spirits and with good intentions. It was never to hurt or frustrate him. "Mm-hmm. It's possible. And maybe I like the way you look when I uh... exercise a little of that strength of mine," he said, smiling. Whether it was a smile, a giggle, or some blushing, Luther always loved when he could fluster Wanda.

When she presented him with a choice of staying and being quiet or heading back to her room, Luther chuckled. "Unfortunately, at this point, I don't think walkin' all the way back in my current um... state... would be very advisable," he said, knowing she could probably feel through his sweatpants just how much she had gotten him in the right mood. "I could be quiet right here, sure. But could you? I'm not the one who usually makes a lotta noise when we decide to have some fun," he teased, unable to help the way he rubbed his body against hers, his lips grazing hers before he kissed her passionately.

"Luther.... baby I'm fine, really. I just need to get something to eat is all, then I'll feel better," Wanda reassured Luther, giving him a small smile before another coughing fit took over. She had been feeling like this for a couple days now, though she was sure that it would burn itself out soon. She needed it to, since she hated laying around in bed all day. "I just need some water..."

Luther thought for a second before grinning and chuckling. "Baby, honestly... if you stopped me from talking to another woman because you were jealous, I'd... I'd find that kinda hot. I know I probably shouldn't, but if I'm bein' honest... yeah, that'd be hot," he admitted, blushing a bit. "Then I'll make sure to say it to you more often. And I'll make sure everyone else knows it too," he said, wanting to make her feel just as good as she always made him feel.

"Yeah? You like rubbing my fuzz?" Luther asked with a little laugh. He ran his hand over the short, buzzcut remnants of his hair on his head. "It is pretty soft, I'll give it that," he allowed. "Nah, it's not weird, I think it's cute that you like it so much." Her giggles were music to his ears, a welcome sound even though she was feeling so terrible being sick. "I am standing up to it, yes. It better be. It knows what it did," he said, his cheeks hurting from grinning. It was so wonderful to have a partner he was this comfortable with and could joke around with. It wasn't until he met Wanda that Luther had had that in his life.
