“Hey! I’m kidding! I—” The blond stopped sort of his teasing when a small gift was extended towards him. Taking the offered charm, he gazed down at it with a beaming grin. “Light, ya didn’t have to do that!” Pulling the pink haired warrior close, he looped an arm around her neck and pulled her into a firm hug. “Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!”

"It's no big de-- !!" A quiet grunt escaped her lips at the sudden hug, but she chuckled a second later. "Don't worry about it, Tidus. It's really nothing special; I just didn't want anyone thinking I forgot about them while I was away." Lightly, she returned the hug. "I'm glad you like it."

“Sounds pretty good, right? Hm? Nah, I don’t think so. I mean Yuna came back and I’ve made a few different friends recently, but that’s about it! —Heh, so did ya get me a souvenir while you were away?”

"She came back, huh? That sounds like good news to me. --I'm happy for you, Tidus."

"Tch. I've been back for how long and you're already asking me for gifts?" Shaking her head, Lightning reached into her pack and pulled out a small, colorful charm hanging on a string. "They had me guarding some frontier town for a while. Don't ask me what it is, but it's supposed to be a good luck charm." She jokingly ruffled his hair, then handed it to him. "You're welcome."

“Most part? Oh yeah, no doubt. You two are really close, ‘course she wasn’t happy that you were gone so long! But you’re here now, right? You guys should go out or something and celebrate!”

"Huh. That's not a bad idea, actually. But, hey, enough about me. Did I miss anything interesting?"

“Well you know where I like to hang out! —Heh, things are going well! What about for you? Everything good with Fang?”

"Yeah? Glad to hear it. --And same here, for the most part...I don't think she's exactly thrilled about how long I was gone, but everything's good."

That wasn’t me it musta bin someone tryna woo ya from me!” the pulsian tried to keep a serious face, feeling it falter rather quickly as a smile tugged at the corners of her lips, “I guess yer right, it jus’ feels like.. so freakin’ long since ya were around.. I mean I’ve bin gone fer a long time an’ all but…”

“I guess I missed ya too..”

"It wasn't huh? Better be careful then, I think it was working." Lightning quirked an eyebrow, keeping as straight a face as she could. "I know, our schedules aren't exactly synched up lately. I...probably should have done more to check in. I'm sorry, Fang."

"--You guess?"
