well this was an attepmt at percy and annabeth
ive been wanting to draw percy jackson since i first read the book SO LIKE 5 YEARS NOW AND I DID ITTT
hes awesome i luv him
percy telling annabeth, the girl who's been abandoned & forgotten countless times & who wants to be an architect to build something permanent bc she's so tired of all her relationships falling apart, that he'll stick by her side until she's remembered is making me so emo 🥺
Eugene and Rapunzel: look at each other
Me: Woah calm it DOWN you two this is a children’s show.
I would like to say!!!! I binge watched the tangled series and I’m OBSESSED
Percy: I tried to imagine a spot for my Achilles’ Heel. I concentrated on the small of my back—a tiny point just opposite my navel. It was well defended when I wore my armor. It would be hard to hit by accident, and few enemies would aim for it on purpose.
Ethan Nakamura, literally the same fucking day: Im a bout to end this mans w h o l e career
this is a paul blofis appreciation post. that will be all
It felt like summer When I kissed you in the rain And I know your story But tell me again<3
I never draw Annabeth the same ;B
would like to give an honorable mention to a great exchange of dialogue in the book when Henry asked Alex what he would do if he lived a normal life, and drunk Alex’s answer was more or less “I can never live a truly normal life due to the fact that I am very hot…………………..the only other career option possible for me would be a model, obviously,”
gonna tell my kids that this is true love
the moon controlling the tides sounds like something out of a fantasy novel and yet…there she is…doing That…every day…
Okay. Okay. So magnus chase and the gods of asgard. I can absolutely say that this trilogy is my favorite out of all Rick Riordan books. Even more than the original pjo series. Which is saying a lot as Percy has been a safe place to comeback when I'm low since I was 15. But Magnus has something special, the books are so good and show that you can make your own family, that when you lost everything there's still stuff to fight for. That this kid who lost his family, home and his life, who's not a fighter but a healer is one of the strongest, kindest, funniest and realistic characters I've ever had the pleasure to read??
Maybe I'm not making sense about it but there's something special about these books. These books are about one homeless kid who lost everything and a bunch of people who in first look would not be the heroes of a story. People who society never sees as the biggest heroes. And they are, they save everyone and become a family, that trust and love each other and that would give their lives for each other. The homeless anxious healer, the Muslim valkyrie, the deaf elf, the fashionist dwarf, the gender fluid Potter, the free African American soldier, the big hearted viking and the Irish glue of the group ended up being the best found family I've ever read.
So yeah Magnus Chase? Worth reading.
if your daughter abruptly leaves town to avoid her boyfriend, and not even a year later she disappears for three days to italy after aforementioned boyfriend dumps her in the woods and leaves her comatose for months, and then a few months later she marries him, contracts a mysterious illness, and reappears appearing completely healthy with a full-grown toddler who looks suspiciously like her and her new husband, then, well...
good luck charlie
