I kept repeating to myself that I had to do something drastic for myself, for me, but I didn't know what that was. I always knew that I wanted to travel -- I wanted to do that more than anything -- but I never really thought it was feasible and only daydreamed about it. It was just one day, I was so incredibly sick of going to the mall, going to work, that I just sort of snapped and was like "fuck it" and decided to plan a hiking trip in Peru. ....that was the jolt that I needed. The Iceland trip plan came shortly after. Then, as fate would have it, I was offered the Student Staff position, which just happened to start 5 days after Peru and ended 7 days before Iceland. I really, really, really believe that if you adjust your mindset, truly believe, and put it out into the universe that you want something.... It will, accompanied by your forward efforts, give it to you. Because anyone can do anything. But it's past 4am and I'm rambling and I should probably attempt sleeping. *note to self: there's a reason you don't take naps, don't do it again.
