random fucking opinions on H/L pics that no one asked for :)

• I used to sit on my (now ex) boyfriend’s lap like that. I’ve never done it with anyone I wasn’t romantically involved with.

• Louis was clearly moving as instinctively as Harry was in this gif. He shuffles down and turns his whole body closer.

• I don’t know the context of this gif, but the hand by the head, up against a wall, and Louis’ stares, all scream sexual tension.

• Quick context, they were answering a question about who in the competition they would date? Or something to that degree, and Louis said Harry should go before him, bringing you to the first gif.

• This is actually one of my favourite “Larry Moments,” if you will. Stupid little teenagers, teasing and flirting. Louis’ face in the last gif gets me every fucking time, he looks so disappointed. Teenage Harry is such a little shit.

• So…his instinctive reaction to Harry coming within kissing distance is to put his hand on his shoulder/chest?

• I’ve seen married couples look less in love. This is getting exhausting.

• I said it in the tags of my reblog, I’ll say it again, no one looks at their totally platonic bro like that when talking about marriage and kids.

I don't think any of us knew Isaac had a girlfriend let alone a fiancée. Goes to show when you want to be private you can be. I went to go like the post and was looking at the comments. Krystle commented something like sorry I couldn't be there so I think there might have been an engagement party of some sort. Zara commented a heart emoji which made me laugh. Anyway if there was a celebration of some sort I imagine Louis would have had a invite. So that's Phoebe's gender reveal, Lottie and Lucky's birthdays and now Isaacs engagement celebration that Louis's not known to have been around for. All because he's supposedly spending weeks in LA with his girlfriend and son. Now I get the public narrative of the son but you can fly to family events and back. I do think this LA trip is a cover as to why Zara's not at any of these events because no one wants her at personal events. Louis I think possibly could have been around for these things but we'll never know. I don't know where he is he could be in LA or Mexico or England or on the moon but what I do know is he isn't with her

my Ready, steady, go! interpretation

idk if this is the intended meaning from harry’s side but it’s how i interpret it based on:

- our knowledge of how jealous and possessive harry can be re louis (see all the many compilations)

- how stubborn he is (“we’re both stubborn i know” sweet creature)

- how h&l’s arguments look sometimes based on Written All Over Your Face

- and how harry talked about the ups and downs in relationships in coming up roses (“Just say the word and we'll take up the test where we Flirt with the bad ones and skip all the rest”) + the zane lowe interview

One could see Ready Steady Go! as harry’s perspective and mental spiraling during an argument with L

“One time is alright

Two times is one too many”

The start of the argument. Harry is stewing in stubborn frustration bc louis (knowingly or unknowingly) did something that pissed harry off.

And suddenly

Louis confronts him like “what’s did i do what’s your problem?!” Refer to WYOF “You're giving me that silent treatment Don't know what it's achieving”

Louis is kind anyways, tells him goodnight, and wants to not go to bed angry but harry is still pressed and expects louis to know what he did wrong 😤🤭

With dirty feet”

Resulting in both of them not sleeping. dirty feet could be a metaphor for tiptoeing around each other or for acting or moving in ways that are wrong.

QUE the harry styles mental spiraling!

Harry’s insecurity in relationships. Like the stupid shit you say in the heat of an argument “if you hate me so much, if you’ve got enough, why don’t you go call Leon, Louis!” The test of flirting with the bad ones that harry talks about in Coming Up Roses. While we do too much could be like “it shouldn’t be this complicated to be in a relationship so why is it?! is it cuz we’re not meant to be?!”

H realizing that oh maybe i’m just projecting my insecurities that you could dump me for Leon. it’s all in my head. (Side note: idk if leon is a real name or not. it reminds me a bit of the typical male heartthrob names in the romance novels. ala Lorenzo or smth. so could be a real name or could be a made up name for this hot exotic alternative person harry could be replaced with)

Maybe you don’t have time for me. Again parallel to Coming Up Roses “am i back seating your life judging while you drive”.

the contrast between the first verse and this is like “ oh actually maybe you weren’t actually trying to piss me off for real maybe you were just pushing my buttons like the lovely little shit you are”. again, harry taking about Coming Up Roses on Zane Lowe; how in relationships your partner challenges you bc they know your goals and want you to achieve them. so even if it feels like confrontation they’re doing it for your own good.

Like harry is realizing that he maybe blew things out of proportion…whoops 😅

and then the rest of the song is him being confused about which one is the right way to feel. his mind is spiraling, ready steady go, can’t stop the spiraling. the instrumental gets more chaotic, the tempo speeds up all the way to the end of the song.

I’m dying with this video. I had never noticed, but at 1:42 Louis pretends he’s a horse because Liam says they will “get back on the horse” and exactly at 1:45 Harry does the fond face with the nose crunch (you all know which one I mean), while looking directly at Louis. 

Notice that Louis is looking directly back at Harry and immediately after, Louis fixes his trousers around the crotch. The FUCKING FLIRT. Louis knows he has caught Harry’s attention, so he preens a little. He even gives Harry that cocky look of his.

I agree with you, Gina. There are fans who will only accept the possibility of Harry liking men if it's with a man they consider attractive, as if they believed they have the right to decide on Harry's tastes, as if they could choose a boyfriend for him. I understand that not everyone has to find Louis attractive, but the solo harries' attitude toward him was always full of harassment and hate: that Louis is too small or too thin, that he is weak, and so many more foolish things. Louis is not weak, he isn't even small, and while he is thin, that doesn't make him less attractive; anyway, why do they think Harry couldn't like a man like him? Because taste in looks is always so subjective. Personally, no matter how much muscle and height Brad has, he is not my type of man; Louis is much more attractive to me, so why couldn't Harry be the same case?

I even remember the comments they made when Harry jumped on Brad; obviously they got excited about that, but he couldn't even handle Harry. Of course he is strong, but if they have so much sexual chemistry between them, as they say, then why doesn't it look like Harry's legs are used to wrapping around Brad? Why doesn't it look like Brad is used to holding Harry? Because in something as basic as that, they simply don't have that closeness? because they are not together.

But who did Harry have so much chemistry with since he was a teenager? Who did he touch so subtly when he thought no one was watching? And not only that, who was one of the first to support Harry since he started his career, who defended him, and protected him for years? The answer always leads to Louis; it would honestly surprise me if Harry wasn't in love with him. Both have been there for each other all the time, so why, if they open themselves up to the possibility that Harry is not heterosexual, do they filter out the most obvious option? Because they are superficial people who will only care about whether that man looks attractive to them or not. They have such an established hatred for the whole concept of Larry and the larries that they will never dare to even think of them as an option. They prefer a man who has never shown himself to be anything more than a trainer for Harry, rather than the man who has been there for him for so long, I even think that not even if they came out of the closet would they stop hating Louis.

I think it’s honestly also because they hate larries and hate the idea that we could be right.
