i cannot believe it is august and by next month i'll have lived in the UK for an entire wonderful, lovely, year!
moving to a new country and going to grad school in person has been an experience that has definitely challenged me in new ways and has brought new perspectives.
i have always wanted to live abroad and im so happy that i made this dream come true for myself.
however, i find myself in a time of transition. i have to move out of my uni housing next month. i have been unemployed for my entire year of my one year master's program, so i need to still find a job (and im currently on my student visa so only part time job which caps my hours, and does not allow freelance). i also have an 11,000 word dissertation due next month (a self led open ended research paper is a bit more challenging than originally realized, especially with my autism spectrum disorder, hello to my brain that works differently).
so i was able to support myself through the student loans i took out for grad school, thanks fafsa lol. but now my time as a grad student is quickly coming to an end (and my last disbursement was in the spring LOL).
so i've made this post, because i'm not sure if it is within my student visa rules to be able to make a gofundme post again like i did before i moved here.
so here are links to donate to helping me stay in the UK, whether the money goes to food or housing. (at the time of writing this i have 0.01 in my uk bank account and 0.19 in my usa bank account LOL) (thankfully i do have food, the uni has a weekly food pantry, and i find food to be cheaper here) (i did manage to sell a concert ticket on axs resale so i will get 115gbp in my bank account sometime next month lol, but ive also got nonrefundable hotel/bus fare oops)
