i normally prefer reading thrillers but as music history goes please kill me and viv albertines memoir are really good. i have sellout but i didnt particularly like what i saw so i havent gotten around to reading it yet. idk if shes written any books but marriane eloise is a really good writer and is the type of journalist who actually deserved to write an emo history book
