It’s been almost four years since the first zine on Drag Culture in Kosovo was created. I never had the chance to share it properly, but it remains one of my favorite collaborations to this day.

I had the pleasure of working on the logo and layout design for the zine, alongside Besfort, who photographed it.

Hello I am so back on TUMBLR!

Whenever I’m deep in commercial work, I often reach a point where I feel a bit drained or disconnected from what I truly value creatively. That’s when I find myself returning to this project a small zine I made just for fun during my university years.

Growing up surrounded by a mix of cultures through fashion, music, and magazines, I was always drawn to the punk aesthetic and spirit. At one point, I tried to look into the punk scene in Kosova, but there wasn’t much to find. That curiosity became the spark for this zine. My original intention was to research punk culture in the place I come from, and even though I haven’t been able to begin that research yet (hopefully someday I will), the desire to understand it pushed me to create something anyway.

What started as a local curiosity turned into a wider exploration of the global punk music scene and how it emerged in the mid-1970s. It became a space where I could reconnect with the things that inspire m, rawness, rebellion, and the freedom to create without rules.
