Theodore shrugged. “Its not as spread out and there aren’t a lot of oceans surrounding where I live. Its landlocked. I’m not sure how much of it you’ll like, its a basic village with hunters and villagers, not a ton of royalty.” He pointed out. “But, I would love to have you join us when we get home. I could show you around.”

Not a lot of royalty? That would make her quite the special attraction in his village. Attention that she would be most accepting of. “It sounds rather appealing.”

Theodore nodded. He liked his quaint little home but it could get rather boring with the people he’s known since birth. “Then we’ll have to plan it whenever the time comes for us to leave.”

For whatever reason, and whatever purpose, Rose made a mental note of his room number. If she was forced to stay - at least until she could arrange for transportation off the island - then she would allow herself to have some semblance of fun.

“Tell me, where does a strapping young man such as yourself come from?“ Her social skills were slightly lacking, having only known people from Wonderland, most of which did not like her in the least.

“Me? I’m from France.” Theodore said, smiling at her and hefting one of the bags further onto his shoulder. “Just a small town, a village really.” He admitted. He didn’t like talking much about his town. Everyone there didn’t take too kind to people who loved to read, though being Gastons son gave him some credit.

“Um… It’s a book about the first civil war.” She admitted a bit sheepishly. “I remember most of the details, but there are some things I question. Hopefully, this will help to jog my memory.”

“Ah, I see.“ She would have to see if she could get her well manicured hands on a copy of the map, or at the very least, find someone who would take her - and also be willing to carry the bags she undoubtedly would accumulate from any shopping she might do. “In that case, I wonder if this plays employs bag boys. I should very much like to do some shopping after a trip to the spa.“
