Emry tilts his head softly. “You’ve... seen them?” He said, a little uncertainly. He saw her stiffen and felt a little bad about how he had gotten her to answer, even if it was just a simple question.

Emry nodded but wasn’t sure how to explain it. “I find a bunch of things intriguing.” he admits before chuckling at the joke. “Yeah, very wet.” He smiled and shook his head.

“Which book was that?” He asked, curious about her choices in books as well. She was gorgeous and seems she had a brain to her too which was always good.

“Um… It’s a book about the first civil war.” She admitted a bit sheepishly. “I remember most of the details, but there are some things I question. Hopefully, this will help to jog my memory.”

Theodore buckled and nodded his head. “Do you like reading about that kind of stuff? I mean, a ton of history right?” He asked, grinning

Emry nodded, watching the two in complete awe. “She’s pretty cool, I must admit.” He hummed, smiling and tilting his head at her. “Your father must be…” He trailed off. Snakes was a give away but he didn’t want to guess the wrong dad.

“She most certainly is.” She grinned and kissed the top of Farah’s head. She narrowed her eyes, thoughtfully at him. “Jafar. The most powerful genie in existence. What about you? Who are your parents?”

Emry nodded and smiled a bit. At the mention on who her father was, he paused and tilted his head. “Intriguing.” He whispered. “Oh, I’m the sone of Milo and Kida Thatch Of Atlantis.”

“Well…” Lily picked at the tip of her finger. He was wrong, and she knew it. How to prove it was the real question. She glanced away from him. “I would argue that they do actually exist.”

Emry nodded a bit and hummed. “How did you find her, er... find each other?” He asked. It wasn’t everyday someone had a bond like this with an animal. Sure, he had his lava dog but he was back home.

Emry nodded, watching the snake and the girls interaction. “She must listen to you? Or you her? Or maybe an equal dynamic?” He asked, curious about how the girl was able to handle the snake with ease.

Hala rose an eyebrow at his curiosity. “It’s an equal partnership.” She stated, entertaining him with an answer. “Usually, snakes listen to me, but Farah is an exception. She’s the only snake I will open my mind to to listen to.”

Emry nodded his head, watching the girl and the snake closely. “Interesting.” He murmured, wanting to ask more questions but knowing just how he could be with something so interesting as this came up.

Hala was getting worried. Farah was gone a lot longer than usual. She locked her bedroom door behind her and headed down the stairs towards the entrance. “Farah.” She spoke softly checking doors and corridors as she went. She frowned once she was outside, and started to head towards the trees. “Farah.” She spoke a bit louder.

After several minutes of looking, the moment she sighed she heard someone scream. She turned towards the scream and smiled once she felt something slither up her leg. “Farah, my darling.” She kissed the top of the asp head as she wrapped herself around Hala’s shoulders. She glanced at the screaming person and smirked. “Sacred of snakes?” She teased.

Emry sighed In relief as the seeming owner of the snake came to get it. “Scared of snakes in general no but I don’t have knowledge of the snakes on this island yet so I was scared in that moment only cause I don’t know how venomous it is.” He said, rubbing the back of his neck and taking a breath.

He liked to be versed in knowing things and not being surprised but he had been busy before going to the island and there for didn’t have the time to study. “That is a type of asp correct?” He asked now that he had a clear view of the snake.
