my pretty old scug humanizations: artificer, gourmand, spearmaster, hunter, survivor and monk! completely forgot about them... yes
I did this back in winter and now I don't like them, maybe I'll draw more human slugcats later.. but I already want to rethink these character designs that I made :D wawa
baby iterator, that's exactly what I meant!
I love this DMS skin sm...😭🤲
mod: can walk by EATING MEALS OR ELSE DEATH on steam, I saw this user here but I can't find them ><"
I tried to give it 8 legs but it looked uh difficult and weird.. so let's assume that 4 is enough for a small can xD
⋆⭒˚.⋆ concept things for my computer girl event horizon :D in the process of redesigning... I wanted to show that she's the newest model and her superstructure is a hybrid of iterator and starcatcher (that things from the watcher), which is expressed even on her puppet's design :D
(upd: about first pic - I made a stupid mistake, the main source for iterators is purified void fuel, but for her it's stardust. she still uses water, but in smaller quantities because she has fewer biological components)
↓ dumb lore and some another doodles under the cut
Old biography hasn't exactly changed, just been expanded with new details.
Event Horizon is the newest model, an experimental hybrid of an iterator and a starcatcher (I think that starcatchers are like energy stations, although in the game we're not told about their purpose). According to her project, she was supposed to consume less water due to her unique construction, which had fewer biological elements. However, during her construction, the idea of Mass Ascension arose, and the project entered a kind of production hell, as no one cared about building new iterators anymore.
Nevertheless, Event Horizon was completed and activated, although some plans were not realized. In the rush, she hadn't been properly calibrated, causing her can to literally fail to conduct energy properly, which ultimately ended… tragically for Horizon.
She wasn't upset about the ancients' ascension, as she hadn't had time to bond with her creators or understand them. She was a powerful, ambitious young iterator, eager to test her mettle on tasks beyond the capabilities of her elders. Her enthusiasm and overconfidence led to a mistake when she ignored warnings from her own systems and the local group senior's advice. Horizon was obsessed with her abilities and power, she wanted to know what she was capable of, what her limits were. As a result, the plating in one sector of her exterior burned out, causing a serious short circuit when rainwater got inside.
[old design]
To prevent further incidents, her capacity was forcibly limited to 15%. It was a difficult decision on the part of the group's senior, but it wasn't just her safety that was at stake, it was her life.
Her life has changed a lot since then, as she used to be obsessed with her work, but after the incident, she became a nearly useless group member. At least she's alive and not destroying herself anymore.
Who was she now? This question haunted her for long cycles. However, over time she became a cynical hedonist who prefers active communication and jokes.
[with her "father", Light of Hope]
There's also a lil "comic" with Light and Horizon, and she still has her old design there. I don't like this thing 👺 but at least it shows their relationship.
Light is like a father to her, and he's one of the older members of the group. Back then, she was the one who "saved" him, pulling him back to work, although she wasn't acting out of empathy, simply wanting to share her projects with all iterators of the local group, without knowing any personal boundaries. Well, she unknowingly helped him out of the hole he'd fallen into. Thanks to her, he discovered empathy for other iterators.
She became his little star, illuminating the darkness. ⋆⭒˚.⋆
lil sketchpage with Albreist :D traumatized goat man yaaay..... need to get back to Ember's story
well I found an old sketch where Albreist had a helmet and decided to add it here
hellooo thank you!!!
I will not participate this year, but I hope I can next year! <3
last year I participated but I didn't draw anything, and I'm ashamed of it that's why I look at my current mood and don't want it to happen again lmao.....
Six Trinkets! my new bro based on the idea "67 kid but ancient and he collects merch with iterators"
according to my headcanons, ancients get the second part of their name when they grow up, so his is short because he's only a kiddo (oaoa, OAOAOA, etc.)
I created him purely for fun, but I accidentally as usual came up with a little lore for him and there's even drama in it. he's a child from a wealthy family and he's obsessed with iterators! he's interested in everything about them - structure, their tasks, their personalities, merch lol... perhaps he would have become an inspired scientist. he was born in Light's city, but he can afford to travel to other iterators and their cities. quite the nerd!
also meet the Nameless One, I'm planning to make a lil comic about her :> she serves Trinkets' family, even though she's an adult, Trinkets is friends with her. I will change design of her mask when I make a reference sheet for her
stop right there criminal scav! >:(
she stole his cloak and now she can tell others "look who I defeated"
based on someone here asked "what if Light gave her his cloak as a gesture of gratitude?"
and then I was like "nahhh he won't do that, a bow is his highest form of gratitude because he's still somewhat arrogant and VERY values his clothes"
BUT...
she can steal it and he won't do anything to her
Hiiiiiii hii hii I love your style!!! Your rain world stuff is always so nice to look at and pariah is SO AWESOME
I saw your recent cyan lizard and I love the way you draw lizards it's amazing!! Which colour lizard is your favourite? :D
awww thank you so much! <3
my favorite lizards are definitely the caramels! they're so funny, silly and chonky... loaves of bread. also 6 paws yay! I drew this beauty....
they remind me of my iterator Hundred Joyful Tidings, he's also silly and chonky :D
Are your ancients capable of making the same range of expressions as we can, or are they limited by the structure of their mouths/facial muscles?
hello again! :D
they can express emotions, although not as widely as we. their "mask" is thicker than the rest of their skin, but if ancient is sad or frowning, it can be noticed. also wrinkles may appear on the "mask" with age
first of all, eyes can say a lot. probably for them eyes were the most expressive thing, that's why iterators' faces only have eyes. I think they often open their mouths when expressing emotions, because when mouth is closed they cannot, for example, smile.
they also have fairly mobile ears, but some prefer to have them cropped
some doodles
ANCIENTS! BENEFACTORS! NO MATTER!!
I will torment ancients for some time >: D this is a new character and also a small headcanon about old masks
some dumbbb lore under the cut.....
The House of Grace was a renowned and wealthy dynasty of ancients from the distant past. They were once noble and great, true benefactors who despite their outward appearance pursued the goal of bringing holy light and grace to whole society, which was their purpose in life. They were easily recognizable by their ornate horned masks with sharp beaks and invariable red robes. Masks of the dynasty's ruling council were hereditary for members of the House, passed down from generation to generation — each mask symbolized a specific role.
The Head of the House was Embodied Radiance, Tale Of Grace. He was a calm, kindhearted, and wise ancient who guided the dynasty for many cycles and helped those in need.
As its greatest gift to the people, House built an iterator named Light of Hope — at the time, a technological breakthrough compared to other existing iterators. The magnificent, shining new city on the structure's roof attracted ancients from all over, and its rulers generously welcomed new residents and dear guests. Light of Hope was considered a full-fledged part of the House, and, as Radiance had bequeathed, he was destined to be their savior and the savior of the entire people. However, things turned out quite differently from the old Head's wishes.
When Radiance decided he had fulfilled his life's purpose and went to ascension with peace of mind, his successor among the ancients proved to be not very far-sighted in their management of the House. Over the course of several cycles, for various reasons, House completely lost its reputation, collapsed, and effectively ceased to exist. Its legacy was the city's Supreme Council, which continued to wear the hereditary masks and red robes, but its current members bore no relation to the former dynasty.
Over time, the Council's ideals changed and became more severe, though its members continued to consider Grace their primary virtue. The city remained as beautiful and grandiose on the outside, but within, chaos and harsh laws grew. Light of Hope himself, as a full-fledged member of the current Council, became mired in his own pride, completely oblivious to any deviations from the original ideology, but that's his personal story...

(and then my friends asked me to draw Light in a dress-.....)
