#my art #start again: a prologue #sasasap #sasasap siffrin #originally i was gonna have the siffrins facing different sides of the page #but i really liked the idea of the negative side having the eyepatch #even tho they lost the eye protecting someone #it still leads to a blanker expression— a harsher one #also originally! the text on the bottom was going to be upside down #and the middle part of ‘you are piercing craft’ was gonna be repeated with one right side up and one upside down #but i liked it better this way #also we avoid drawing the big hat from the front by drawing siffrin from the back yeehaw #oh wait dammit i should’ve had one facing towards the camera and the only away that would’ve been NEAT #don’t ask me what’s going on with the shoes i dont know either i just like slouchy boots in fantasy settings #give me old cheap leather boots

Okay so. I bought START AGAIN: A Prologue when it came out, played it, loved it, and then kinda obsessed over it for a bit before I moved on to other things while I waited for the release of In Stars and Time.

And then my brain decided to fixate on these characters again, and I ended up replaying SASASAP for… god, way too long over the span of three days. Just save scumming and trying different things. I ended up writing down lines I liked, and this was one of them! I don’t know why this struck a chord with me so much but it did and I love it.

Self care is drawing almost exclusively an au you and your best friend made up together and loving every moment of it, even if you never talk about it outside of that friend who is equally as obsessed with the au.

Self care is also getting emotionally invested in an anime from 2014 and desperately wanting to see it suddenly and inexplicably revived for a season two in 2020 for no reason other than It’s Good.

I only got a switch recently, but I’ve wanted one just so I could play Breath of the Wild since the game came out. I couldn’t afford it until this year for my birthday, and my god it was so fun to play. However the entire time I kept getting distracted because Link has to look up to talk to every single character, except for Robbie, Purah, Impa, and village children.

I found @linkeduniverse soon after and my god it’s such a great AU, and suddenly this little interaction was born. Wild is the fourth tallest in the group from what I can tell, just behind Time, Twilight, and Warriors. However, I can’t shake the idea that he’s used to being the shortest person in the room when he’s home.
