reisen flavored thoughts to follow
I think she's like, fairly jacked? Jackrabbit... But also relatively beat up. Eirin and Kaguya didn't leave without Some Substantial Violence on the moon, and things aren't great still (small arsenal retained)
Among the defectors Reisen's one of the sort of informal officers, plus a menagerie of authority. Still keeps in shape, retains conditioning, but she's gone from like, the stereotypical six pack to maybe more of a small gut, powerlifter-ish build? Like, no longer doing aesthetics and performance, just performance.
some degree of vanity still. scar surgeries weren't completed, leaves marks. even the facial ones are covered over with makeup. certain soldier's pride, certain insecurity.
Holy crap, art? On an art blog? Unfathomable.
I love her shiteating grin so much dude. Go play Touhou Lensed Night Sky if you haven't.
Throwaway comic! Our boy is a b*tch and I'd die for him

Murasa/Reisen is clobbering me atm.
Beautiful merciful mother of god, it is actually squaring me away. Two bits of art most likely soon.
I blame LNS.
Regarding latest A-10 news...
So I've been re-reading Keymaster's Tengu of Misfortune..
This is a really silly thing to get up in arms over but I've been really annoyed by it so now I'm gonna write out trivialities.
I think it's really always going to be ass to have your world be unserious and serious at once. You can have the funny in your serious world and have serious topics taken with some humor, but you have to pick because larger than life characters like their Aya or Marisa just seem like humongous assholes if you don't.
And sure, part of the point is them being kind of assholes but when played for laughs actions are treated seriously the vibes suck.
I don't really approve of the 'funny perv aya' depiction but you could at least make her seem less of a huge psychopathic dick by playing it to its conclusion. When Hina turns the tables, have her respond enthusiastically and then be confused by whatever negative reaction Hina gives. People's worldview colors everything, so just make her think different instead of apparently never using her mirror neurons in several hundred years! It still kind of sucks and makes her look like an asshole but if you dole out a scene where you unwind her out of that tangle of concepts I think it sucks way less!
It really is ine of those no win situations I think though, potentially. Played for laughs perversion and what is... yknow, SH if not actual SA...
I had a degree of fun with Keymaster's Being Meiling, which is probably why I'm just so ticked off about this.
Shadow Hawk
...I'm not immune to this.
writing a fanfic but you think of the offshoots before you've even finished chapter 1 (apocalyptic au lets fukin gooooo)
its bad folks.
touhou shaped thoughtlet:
The resolvers sleep in (have been incapacitated in pitched battle). Without the aid of the go-tos, a few other characters step up to the plate.
Mokou, for the chance to upstage her rival and because she wants to be able to sell her food in peace. Reisen, because in lieu of Kaguya, the best rabbit of Eintei will suffice and hopefully not annoy Fujiwara too badly. Aunn, a guardian expeditionary after her shrine maiden failed to return. Alice, after their regular meeting failed to be regular.
In their way is a host of strange allies, who don't seem to be in the right state of mind, especially considering how many of them are thinkers or learned types.
listening to old lyrica live songs like
she's on tumblr tho. Here, a @lyricalive jumpscare, sponsored by this funny umbrella I found on the side of the road.
Is the arrow 4 urbie a metal gear? If you consider it fits all the criteria. Nuclear capability check, bipedal locomotive check. Its a metal gear
Well, Aleksandr Leonovitch Granin (Hero of Socialism, recipient of the Order of Lenin) described the basic premise of the Metal Gear in his 1964 lecture "Put That [Gun] Away, You'll Spoil My Drink" as a missing link between artillery and infantry. This actually proved a half-truth in what would come to be known as the Metal Gears, as it reached a compromise with his colleague Dr. Nikolai Stepanovich Sokolov's vision of a nuclear-armed tank.
Thus we may say that there are three tenets to Metal Gear taxonomy:
A crewed or at least piloted mechanism, (Granin/Sokolov school- though later supplanted by unmanned Gears.)
with two legs, (Granin school.)
and a strategic nuclear arsenal. (Sokolov school.)
Therefore, examining the UM-AIV UrbanMech, we can determine it possesses all these points: it is bipedal, a piloted machine, and wields a nuclear missile array. Of course, just how strategic that is could be questioned- even Arrow IV missiles aren't intercontinental unless your continents are very close together, on the geographical scale -but I agree that it counts.
Perhaps it should be argued that any atomic weapon, nuclear urbanmech in particular, is strategic. UM-AIV-N inflicts a tactical zone of control where you disperse forces and increase anti aircraft weapons density. This may not be viable for breakthrough operations lacking a heavy fire support train.
Particularly, atomic UM imposes psychological stress on the entire chain of command. Someone is willing to violate the conventions of war, no longer truly in effect they might be, with the least well suited platform known to mankind. What are they going to come up with next, nuclear locust?
This might be a real seal clapping moment but I do like Brigador's approach to revenge, lorewise. You can see just how hard the cycle of violence is hitting because in the prequel .. SPOILERS,
Mar Nosson is this sleepy little town of a city. Violent crime exists, the police are predictably corrupt like hell and in the pocket of the mob, but people really just are not expecting this sort of activity. The police are equipped with combo riot-soft vests designed around pistol rounds or something, whereupon they're set upon by angry soldiers out to make someone pay for the invasion, atrocities, and desecration levied on their home.
BK comes around and every NOSPOL officer's running around with a plate rig, snipers have fifty calibers, and SWAT has actual honest to god rocket launchers. A Nossian branch of Corvids has sprung up and is preparing for actual straight civil war, and then someone tops the previous 9/11 event of "power armored killteam storming through the police and private security goons" by LEVELING DOWNTOWN WITH A GIANT DEMO BALL.
I can't believe Brigador Killers has a level about destroying a Tesla dealership
Never thought of it that way. Gonna start.
we're now brigador killing it.
I tell you, there's a certain degree of appreciation you gain for rifle caliber weapons after a long while of submachines and pump actions. just have to experience it.
never thought I would come across a truly God-tier post such as this.
@optanksteel @queriesntheories @tigersharko check it out lol
...I wonder how I could go about this?
