Hi! Your manga is amazing. Any special tip of a specific book or manga-course you taken that you felt gave you a good push forward? Or is it just like everyone else, just put in the hours?

First of all - thank you so much! I really appreciate it 🫶🏻 Secondly- I had to actually think this question over but I think there is more to it than to just put in the hours; it depends on how one practices (I think)! I try to sketch as much realism as I can cause I learned that the understanding of anatomy and faces is necessary to try and develope your own art style! You think less while drawing and just do it because you have a retain vision in mind (personally I am still not perfect at it but that is where you gotta put in the hours 😂). It also helps if you redraw the works of your favorite artists - especially when it comes to colouring styles or certain things you like (e.g., the way they draw hair or eyes)!

Also - I use many references and mix them up, photographs or even video captions are great if you want to capture motions or try different perspectives! Using references to see if the way you draw faces or anatomy is correct is nothing to be ashamed of and I honestly can only encourage you to try it out 💓
