Guess what I learned at this weekendâs plein air painting session (save post to read tips later): ⢠Opt for darker color clothing and shoes; grass stains are not flattering đ¤Śââď¸ â˘ Invest in a sturdy pochade box. Holding a palette outdoors isnât ideal. Love my @newwaveart UGo. ⢠Check the weather before leaving especially in New England and always photograph your subjects because they change â ⢠Less is more. Carry primary colors + white. Paint mixing is easier than opening and closing tubes. đ¨ ⢠Get used to an audience. I still struggle with one but getting better. ⢠Lastly, respect your surroundings and donât litter. Thank You so much, @towerhillbg for the perfect location for painters. 𪴠Is this helpful?
