A while ago I drew the girls as brimhats, so of course I wanted to do Qifrey and Olruggio. Though I found it harder to come up with designs for them than for the girls, especially Olruggio (I guess I just had a hard time imagining him being part of the brimhats). But I’ve finally managed to make something that I like. I have written some of my thoughts below the read more on their designs.

For Qifrey I wanted to make him look like a classic JRPG healer, since medical magic is a big driving force for Qifrey. So I suppose as a brimhat Qifrey wasn’t left in the woods, but rather taken in like Custas.

Though we’ve never really seen any magic used in straight up healing (yet), so I don’t really know to what extent it could be used or if the Brimhats have any knowledge of it.

For Olruggio like I said earlier I had a really hard time thinking of him as a brimhat. It just felt like it went against all of his character traits. But then I remembered that he creates magical items and I had a thought that we’ve never really seen magical weapons so I thought that's what Olruggio could make as a brimhat. So I wanted him to look like a magical blacksmith.

I really love Coco's brimhat design, but thinking about it I realised I've never seen any fanart of the other girls as brimhats (or if I have, it was long time ago). So I decided to make my versions of what I think Agott, Richeh and Tetia would look like as brimhats.
