I’m taking a ceramics hand building class where us students can make whatever we want. My first creation is this Lickilicky spoon rest. I made the Lickilicky from memory so his proportions aren’t perfect. Next week I’ll glaze him!

I finally had the chance to glaze my Lickilicky! There’s no class next week due to Thanksgiving, but when I come back he should be fully fired and finished!

The Lickilicky spoon rest is done!

The colors are perhaps a little too dark, though that may be a result of the terra-cotta clay I used.

I’m very excited to use this in the kitchen!
