Quick sketch of an African Shoebill, this is my first drawing of the new year. This probably took me 45 minutes or so. I just received some of these pencils from @bee901co so I wanted to test them out in my new sketchbook from @shopdenik. So far I like both. The pencils are manufactured by @musgravepencil and are very nice, I love the black and gold. The Denik sketchbook is really nice too. Paper is nice and thick and this one is 81/2 x 11. I found this picture of a skull with really long braids online. Not sure why I wanted to draw this, just something I haven't seen before and anatomy interests me. Found this big boy at the pool skimmer this morning. Surprisingly docile and non-aggressive. I coaxed him onto a stick and placed him away from the pool. Such a cool looking spider, so furry! I am on the hunt for this Pokemon this morning. Forget catching them all, this one will do. Drawn in a pocket notebook from @alio.modo.design with my @karaspenco #ink with Schmidt fineliner refill. Got some lovely handmade pocket notebooks by @alio.modo.design delivered yesterday all the way from Scotland. Neil provided these to me for the purposes of reviewing and I paid shipping, really a win-win in my book. My first impression is that these are sturdy and wellmade with a nice attention to detail.
