For some time now I've been meaning to track my art progress in a digital space, but since I've been overly picky and procrastinating it, I'm just gonna put it on tumblr for now lol

I'll be trying to follow a chronological order, but knowing myself that won't be consistently possible so I'll be trying to tag my works as best I can. For now, I'll do a little intro about myself!

My name is Andy, my pronouns are he/him & they/them, and I am a queer trans artist. I primarily draw and sculpt, with pencils and oil pastels, and clay to be my preferred mediums, respectively. I like to play with scale and create little worlds, my favorites being:

Creating dollhouse-like items for little flocked bears I call Littles (for some reason this usually manifests as tea sets or seats)

Making hand-made Furbies do human activities (for my senior exit show in college, I had Furbies viewing Furby art in an art gallery)

Drawing Furbies navigating dream-like spaces (two Furbies dressed as wizards battling on a pile of treasure)

Misc, usually biology-themed studies (a depiction of a tardigrade mother with her little babies)

Misc:

I prefer my miniatures to be functional, like a tiny book with pages you can open.

I also like to create fictional creatures, and tend to get really lost in the sauce with the process.

I journal as often as I can, and my sketchbook and journal are the same book.

I tend to track my progress through chronological order and by subject matter.

I'd really like to make videos of me making art, but I super hate video editing thus far :,)
