final outcome of the personal brand identity
first digital sketches
First stages of thinking of a personal brand identity
and being caught in the illustration mood I thought of making one of myself since i was moving to the stage of working on my personal adverting...
Came up with this i though of may be putting it on the inside cover of my portfolio
and bottle designs for the Bulgarian spirit Rakia to be offered at the restaurant
then the logo just came out from the illustration and suited as the right one.... Besides, the big illustration has it so they complete each other
the name is related with the ancient name given to the southeastern Balkan region.
After the sketches with the pencil I draw her over with the fine pen, scan it and finally draw her over again in Illustrator - I stylize her a little bit and thought of putting some color on it but didn’t like how it looked cause I felt like loosing the elements, so I left her in black and white
....and being caught in the previous illustration mood I thought of concentrate the Bulgarian restaurant brief around one as well. First sketches representing a Bulgarian woman with traditional clothes holding bread.
Since my grandmother loves making Tapestry I got the inspiration from her when one day we went to the shop cause she needed threads to knit and a saw this Tapestry of a Bulgarian woman and I literary loved it. Then all the magic appear on the white paper as if I was seeing her in front of me.
final outcome of the board
experimenting with additional elements in it, such as the octopus...however I didn’t like it that much when I started to coloring it just because I was looking for to have the attention mostly on the guy
