Finally got the post about making my farthingale up! It can be read here. Spoiler alert: Farthingales are assholes. 

Somehow despite that I ended up with something that looks really nice under the kirtle I made. I’m not sure HOW that ended up happening but i’m happy it did! 

It’s definitely not historically accurate, but it’s functional, which is more than I can say for some of my foundation garment attempts!
