Margot was glad to see Alexandra on time, though she didn’t really know what else to expect. Despite having not gone on any kind of a date in years, so many times had the person she was to be meeting with been late. Margot didn’t appreciate lateness, though would make do with it if she had to.
Feeling the kiss upon her cheek, Margot hadn’t been given time to return it, and she certainly didn’t wish to lean over the table or get up for such a simple gesture. Margot couldn’t remember the last time somebody had kissed her on the cheek and meant it as nothing more than a friendly (or, in some cases, loving) gesture.
“Good evening,” Margot responded, giving Alexandra just a small smile to show that she was happy for the other’s prompt arrival. “It was good. I hope yours was too.”
"Verily, it was." Alexandra's eyes peaked over the menu at the other, the creases above her cheekbones expressing her hidden smile. "The cab driver was very, like, generous. He fancied me, verily, what with his bolshy grins and playful slovos."
Just as Alex finished speaking, the waitress approached the table, asking if they were ready to order. After admitting that she wasn't ready to order food, Alex requested a tall glass of milk. Over the years, Alex had acquired a taste for milk, whether it be laced with drugs or not. Now, every time she went out to dinner--if she weren't in the mood for tea--she would prefer white beverage.
"Smack!"

Immediately putting a more appropriate distance between the two of them, he pulled away, looking fairly insulted. “Well, fine. You’re not that cute, anyway.” Frankie huffed, folding his arms over top of his chest. “And if that leaves a mark, you’re going to be sorry.”
"Oh, what? You only pick up on sarcasm if it comes from your own mouth?" He asked, a slight smirk resting at his lips as a result of observing the other’s reaction to his jesting. "I’m old enough." He muttered softly. "How old are you?”
"No, I only pick up on sarcasm when it actually sounds like sarcasm." He scoffed, a disgusted expression crossing his features. "Waity wait wait; Thou will give me a very, like, vague answer, and then expect me to turn around and say my age? That's very unfair, starry veck, and I won't have for it."
"Alex, Alex! guess what? I'm engaged!" (//i really want to see how he reacts to this i am a curious bunny okay *rolls away*)
“But you’re so… molodoy.”
"We can’t be droogies if thou is going to be like clung to some sorry chelloveck, holding his rooker and going smooch smooch smooch all the raz. I simply won’t stand such behavior. I can’t."
Her brows furrow in confusion and she can’t help but feel hurt by his statement, “I thought you’d be happy for me” She says softly, her tone portraying clearly the confusion and pain that’s building up in her.
"Now you don’t want to be my friend? We’re neighbors, Alex. Do you plan on at least saying hello to me or are you going to ignore me from now on? I would have been happy for you if you’d found someone, but you’re selfish and mean
you don’t care about anyone else’s happiness do you? Me & Tommy are in a long distance relationship right now, he proposed three days before I left America. He’s coming here to be with me—-
I wasn’t going to tell anybody anything until I was sure & you…you were the first person I wanted to tell, because I thought you’d be happy for me. I don’t know why I thought that, it was a mistake.”
Alex sighs out, plopping himself against the wall, expression showing his exasperation. "I might, like, say hello, depending on how I feel." He crossed his arms over his chest, face now reading stoic.
"Am I supposed to, like, care about other people's happiness? Oh no no no. If I do a silly veshch like that, then I might become, like, too obsessed with pleasing everyone else and won't have enough energy to spend on caring about me." His shoulder farthest from the wall moved up slightly in a shrugging motion.
"Appy polly loggies, Addie-Waddie, but I simply hold myself above everyone else. And, I will not be happy seeing you and your veck all lubbilubbing each other in public. No. The mere thought of it makes me a malenky bezoomy. I do not like all that gloopy romance cal."

"Honestly, it looks like you punched a brick wall." Mischa chastised, attempting to keep Alex’s hand still while she cleaned his skinned knuckles. She didn’t ask how it happened, and she wasn’t sure she wanted to know, but she knew she couldn’t just leave his wounds unattended. Knowing him, he’d probably just shrug it off and let his hand get infected.
Sure she had cleaned them thoroughly, she began to wrap his knuckles up with a bandage, kissing the top of them lightly once she finished with the bandage. “Do me a favor and don’t do anything stupid again, okay?”
"Absolutely." She said without hesitation, completely serious up until the point where she broke into giggling.
"Seriously though," she continued, after subduing her laughter, "You getting into unnecessary trouble is not an option. I would be completely beside myself if you ever got arrested. I might even have to find a way to bust you out.”
"Righty? How very, like, sammy of thou."
"Thou would, like, miss me too much to not want to break me out, yes yes yes? Yes." Alex smiled smugly, leaning back in his chair, arms coming up to cross over his chest. "Dost thou have a plan? Or, dost thou just have a bolshy stash of pretty polly?"

Soo, you guys remember that time forever ago when I finally came back after a mystery absence and you were all so welcoming?
Well, Alex-Mun is absent minded/lazy/distracted, and managed to be gone for, like, 3 weeks. My motivation to RP had sorta been thrown out the window, and I have been binge watching YouTubers for these past few weeks.
However, while I won't be able to get to anything tonight (I do have to go to bed soon), I will definitely be doing stuff tomorrow and/or the day after. It depends.

"N-No Alex, I haven’t. D-Don’t hurt me, please”
She says helplessly—swallowing thickly; Adelaide hugs herself protectively, inching away from him until her back hits a wall. Her eyes are glued to the floor, and inwardly she’s wishing she could just disappear or die.

She hugs herself, swallowing the lump in her throat and blinking back tears. Addie wants nothing more than to run, and while she’s not certain he’d follow her she’s far to scared to even move. She forces herself to meet his eyes, unable to stop herself from visibly shivering. “What…what did I do?” She asks timidly, helplessly. Addie can’t figure out what she did wrong.
"Why’re you upset with me? I don’t understand; please Alex. Just tell me what I did wrong & we can work through it, together…please”
A look of confusion washed over Alex’s features as if this were the first time someone tried to be civil with him. After getting over the initial surprise, he scoffed and rolled his eyes.
“No." He said harshly, voice quickly hardening again. "This is why. You’re so… petty. Our relationship is cat and mouse, and you’re the mouse. An injured rodent who’s demise at the cats hand is inevitable. I will leave feeling fulfilled and you will hardly be able to leave at all. That’s what you get for walking into the trap."

Steve Rogers. Not Captain America. I would probably only ever RP his character for the personality, not the powers, as I’ve stated in a previous Marvel-themed ask. I’ve always been skeptical to RP Steve, but I’ve honestly never done it, which is odd, because I can relate to him a lot (I’m considered Steve among my RL friends?) and I’ve RPed both Tony Stark and Loki, both of which are characters who are way out of my league of roleplay.
And, I don’t ship him with anybody.
That may seem like no big deal, but with me being a shipping nut who unwillingly thinks of ships and fluff left and right, having a character whom I don’t want to have only cuddle (and smut, cough cough) RPs with would be great. But, at the same time, I would want to ship him, but I probably wouldn’t have it in me. I simply can’t see him getting with anybody, I don’t know why. I have all of the brotps with him, though. Mainly Bucky/Steve.
That was longer than expected..
He had a strange way of talking which peaked Abigail’s interest. “Poppy-wop, huh? Well, I certainly don’t want to be a disgrace so, yeah, your recommendations are very welcome.” He was right that she was a beginner when it came to classical music and she was rather relieved he assumed it without waiting for her answer so she didn’t have to try to come up with something intelligent sounding to say because she was fully at a loss.
"Bach. I’ve heard of him," she finally came out with, pleased she could say so honestly, though her comment wasn’t as bright as she would’ve hoped so she gave him a bright smile instead. "Variety, that sounds good. Horrorshow?"
"Horrorshow! As in good." He shoved the record at the girl, though gently, mostly to keep it intact. "Dost thou not pony the slang of the nadsats? Teengers, that is." Despite the curiosity--and slight attitude--in his voice, his friendly smile never faltered, fueled by her own. It was common courtesy to smile when smiled at, and that obligation grew when he was selling something. "Was there anything else thou was looking for?"
She was growing increasingly frustrated with Alex’s sassy behavior, but decided she was too tired to continue a losing battle with him. “Fine,” she huffed, positioning herself back on her side of the couch. “But first, a goodnight kiss?” She leaned forward to Alex’s side with a smirk.
"No." Alex said blatantly, arms crossed over his chest and stern stare set forward. His glare burned a hole in the wall before it was turned to her. "I do not kiss if the starry in-out-in-out doesn't follow. And we are not, like, having pol. Nope nope nope."
”A dog. A bloody dog. I don’t normally hate dogs but…” He tentatively rubbed the scratch on his cheek before laughing. “The owner didn’t chain him up before I went in to fix the dryer. Damn thing. —-Guess he was just being a good guard dog, right?”
"A puppiwup?" He held back any spouts of laughter, "How bolshy was this doggy? I feel like thou might be, like, lucky to come out with just a scratch. Though, I do agree that he was being a horrorshow chasso pup. Very dobby pet."
"Perhaps they’re hiding it for a good reason. Their son sneaking about and stealing it for himself maybe?" She said lightly, picking up her glass and taking a drink herself. While the attempts on his part to return to some semblance of normalcy were admirable, his avoidance of her - and his quite unnatural silence - gave away his uneasiness of the situation.
"Do you always steal from them? Or is doing questionable things in spite of what they may want normal for you?" She questioned suddenly.
"There's a difference between, like, stealing and peeting what's been up there for who ponies how long." Alex took a long sip from his beverage, seemingly unimpressed with Mischa's continuous concern for his behavior. "If I had to answer that, I would say yes. Bog help them, pee and em, for they are, like, helpless when it comes to taking care of me. They get all razdrez when I do badiwad veshchs but then, like, don't punish me for it. I don't think they pony how."
