Through spacial installations and self-publications, my work interrogates contemporary uses of new media, writings and images as phantoms, personal ruins or damaged memories; from family archives and museum conservation to cellphones images, in order to question the power relations between image "users" and new spaces of diffusion and communication.

#4. If you have experienced physical residencies as part of your work, what are the challenges you faced with the digital residency?
In the digital residency the acceptance (or not) of the artist's work does not occur from the physical interaction and discussion but it arises from the number of likes and reacts. The most challenging part is that you have to create content for people that you don't know if they are interested in what you do.

#3. Did you find it difficult to adapt to the hybrid residency world? How did it feel using this new instagram language for your practice?
The hybrid residency world is like having dinner with strangers. You may feel a bit awkward at the beginning but if you are sincere to what you do, you may discover very interesting ways to interact with these unique strangers.

# 2 The relationship between the body and physical or digital space has been a constant and fundamental part of your practice during this residency; how does this relate to audience participation? Is the performative part something you are interested in?
Art instead residency gave me the opportunity to express my inner thoughts and define my desires in artistic practice. Spending most of my time working in the protective environment of my studio, solitude of the quarantine reminded me that my inner wish is to interact with the audience. The digital space of phoenix gallery was my mean to attempt this interaction. Planet C was the starter point to welcome the audience to my world, a silent place where we could all meet together and observe each other. The experience of this hybrid residency gave birth to my decision, to make Planet C a physical place, where my guests will pick their roles and will interact with my world.
The performative part is something that I am definitely interested in.

#1 How does your work address this relationship of the digital and the physical? My artist identity is keen on physical interaction. Nevertheless the digital world is a great chance to feel more extrovert and share my ideas with a larger group of people. Creating Planet C in order to present what I do was my intense to interact with other people pretending we are in a physical world but in terms of a digital approach.
