OHHHH MY GOODNESS I WOULD LOOOOVEEE TO!! Hello new mutual

Alright so Seven is my oc, my character, who actually originated from an ACTUAL run in-game i did; it was my second ever run and i managed to outrun the elder thornback after getting bit once, bled out, and then last standed in layer 6! his whole thing is how he’s just… another person. His name is Seven because in the original group descent rp he was like “well i was never given a name, so ig just call me by my first digit of my id” which, his id is 71279.

umm okay appearance stuff… he’s JUST another experiment. he’s 4’4 and kinda small for his age (19 y/o) his reference can be seen below (DRAWN BY YOU @liceinmyteeth )

the other character there is Lazz btw :3

his personality is basically just your typical expie, skittish and nervous all the time. He’s never had the chance to make actual friends or have any experiences like the rest of the people in group descent, which makes him a complete blank slate and he usually sucks when it comes to picking up social cues, and mostly picks up his actual personality from other people. for instance, he hangs around Brass Lazz and Thorax a lot, and Brass has influenced to where he now knows how to (mostly) deal with other people’s feelings without making the other person sad after a big long talk, Lazz has influenced him by being literally the only overworked medic of the group and he REALLY wants to help out and find out what does what, Thorax has really imprinted on how he smiles cuz every time seven used to smile before becoming friends with Thorax he would always nervously and shyly smirk a little but after being exposed to a dune’s HUGE toothy grin it imprinted on Seven and he literally smiles with his whole face now

seven hasn’t ever also dealt with the feeling of loss or any kind of grief in any way, so if one of the members of the group die he’d be genuinely devastated…

OH BACKSTORY STUFF okay so seven was supposed to be some sort of diver for something, and he was trained to be able to hold his breath underwater for a REAAAL long time (like 3 minutes) but for the most part he was just a test subject where they did a bunch of drug testing but he never was informed of the name of anything he was given (he knows nothing about drugs) and some day during a regular normal day, he went to go for some more swim training and then suddenly the humans were like “hey we’re taking you to the new planet!” he tried his absolute hardest to escape but unfortunately (or fortunately) ended up on the shuttle with everyone else…

Thorax is a 23 year old brown tinted dune with an orange bandanna. their bandanna was given to them after they had saved their "parent" (one of the handlers who had raised them ever since they were a pup) from a hostile experiment that had managed to breach containment, and by saved I mean Thorax mauled the FUCK out of that poor guy. RIP unnamed expie. they're genetically modified to be able to express more empathy than other dunes

oh yea, Thorax's backstory is that they were basically kidnapped from their mother by the scientists as soon as they had hatched, which resulted in their dumb little dune brain imprinting on the humans and thinking that the humans were other dunes. the lack of proper socialization with other species and their own kind resulted in them being very very VERY emotionally underdeveloped. they were also prone to being drugged and sedated any time they exhibited any sort of negative emotion, so they were never allowed to really experience and feel anything other than "yay happy happy dune" all the time. they were selected for the group descent project after ripping off one of their handlers' hands because they got too stressed.

personality wise, Thorax tries their best to be sweet and nice to everyone in the group. the training they were put through in the facility made them see everyone in the group as a close friend instead of the usual "you're a friend but we'll never get too close" mindset that dunes usually have. they still won't accept hugs unless you're real close, but unlike other dunes they'll actually appreciate it. Thorax is a real cutie pie but whenever they're on low mood EVERYONE will feel it. they don't know how to regulate their emotions so they end up hurting others in the process, isolating themselves and lashing out at everyone around them. episodes for Thorax have often ended in either themselves or someone else being hurt/yelled at. they're still learning how to manage and control their emotions and find healthy coping mechanisms.

in a recent incident, Thorax's mood dropped to -100 after several unfortunate events that happened to them and the rest of the group throughout the course of layer 3 and some of 4. they then proceeded to claw out their left eye during an episode, though thankfully Morphie (vyse's oc) was following after them and managed to get them help before they bled out. everyone in the group's worried for them huuuuu....

currently thorax has real bad fin-rot from very low mood... poor thang. the entire group atm is fed and watered nicely so hopefully they'll start physically and mentally recovering

i have a lot more i could talk about here but unfortunately i don't feel like typing out an essay right now so have this thorax doodle as a compromise

Hi guys! Been quite a while since I've dumped some art... I got some stuff of some characters in the GDAU!

In order, we have Mossy, Carna, Vagrant, Morphie, Mossy again, and Idris!

And some more doodles...

Oh yeah, and the group finally met a Tarwalker for the first time! I drew up some of them from the interaction

Thankfully none of the group descenters were hurt! Well except for Morphie's ego cause she was being stupid

Side note, it's very likely velvettes in our AU stretch like this.
