✨ This one was kind of a new technique for me , which i really enjoyed doing, so i wanted to share it. The idea was to just start with shading in shadows in general shape/form, and then gradually defining the features. I used a round brush with just one colour and chose purple cause i liked the contrast with the green background and light. Then putting the shadow sketch layer in multiply mode, I painted on the layer below it, starting with some basic colour blocking and then advancing yo more saturated colours. Played around with background colour until finally setting for grey. Overall really enjoyed working like this, mainly because it forced me not to focus on the itty bitty details and just focus on the shapes. Of course it isn’t perfect(yet), but those bad sketches have to be put down somewhere right?
