Uh so a lot of things have happened recently.

I had to spend two weeks at the hospital to keep watch over my mom who was admitted.

Then she was discharged and doing better, at least we thought she was.

Then on September 18th... In the morning she passed away.

We've been taking things day by day since her passing.

I have set-up a GoFundMe to help out with covering her cremation costs. If you want to donate, it would mean the world.

The funeral home called me as I was going to pull some money I saved up to pay for the motel room my siblings and I stay in.

I currently have $885.05 saved towards the cremation costs. And more is on the way from the Go-fund-me. Which will bring it to $930.84. Plus a transfer from Daily pay I'm waiting on.

Which means I need $840 more to fully pay off the rest of the costs.

Taking a break

Okay, Hi everyone it is I, Vixen, the mod of this blog as well as @ask-volatile-sergeant @tireless-nurse-vixen and the side blogs associated with them.

I am making this post to let everyone know that I have lost the motivation to do the in character RP blogs for my cod OCs. It was kind of a slow loss of motivation. I think part of it is that I've also lost being hyperfixated on Call Of Duty.

So those accounts will be dormant for an undisclosed amount. I haven't lost love for the OCs. I just don't have the same passion I had when I got into call of duty.

However, that doesn't mean I won't draw them or stop being active here. As I am very much motivated and focused on something else right now.

So there will be updates to this account as I work on it.

i'm as upset as any 10+ year old tumblr user to see the degradation of ask culture. since i've been making my own games, i get people in my notes reblogging one game regularly—weekly, daily, sometimes multiple time a day—desperate for interaction that their followers simply won't give them, even as those same followers reblog the game from them. it's awful to see people crying out for connection only to be ignored by people who can obviously hear them. it makes me sad!!! and it's frustrating!!!

but at a certain point, we have to accept that yelling about how things were 10 years ago isn't going to change people's behavior. a vast majority of tumblr users simply do not send asks, don't intend to, and will reblog ask games without sending any questions no matter how much we insist it's impolite. it's time for a new approach—so to that end:

for everyone reading this, i give you permission and highly encourage you to copy and paste my ask games (any ask game tbh) into a blank document, fill out every single question for the OCs or WIPs of your choice, and post it. without getting a single ask from anyone, share it anyway. one question at a time, everything in one giant text post, whatever. there's a good chance people who are too shy to send asks will appreciate getting to learn about your characters and stories, and maybe even encourage them to ask you for more details. and even if they don't, maybe you'll build the confidence to post whatever you want about your characters, whenever you want.

...Jesus Christ this is exactly like our convo. I swear anytime I reblog an ask game onto one of my RP blogs, all I get is other people reblogging it from me. Don't even get people sending me asks pertaining to the askbox game I reblogged.

Like I want to share more information about my characters, I want to expand them, let them grow. But no one bothers to send anything related to the game.

I've been around on Tumblr for a long time now. Hell, I had experience being a popular ask blog back when I was big into the Markiplier Ego fandom. I was getting people interacting asking questions. I was having fun.

Nowadays it feels dead, now don't get me wrong, I love the call of duty ask blog community here. I have fun interacting with everyone's characters and all (though I know I need to interact more and spread out) but when I reblog an ask box game everyone mostly just reblogs it from me and that's it. No asks in my box.

Sorry for the little rant but it does hurt when I don't get anything. Though reading that last big paragraph, yeah I might start doing that.

Howdy y'all! I haven't posted here in awhile. But while I was gone I have made a fully separate ask blog for juniper @ask-callsign-vixen

I have also made a whole new ref sheet for Juniper and given her a new Callsign. I am really proud of this because while I was following a ref photo, I pretty much made it my own.

And Incase y'all are wondering, the Callsign change story is that when Juniper laughs really hard she sounds like a hyena. But yeah

Really fucking proud of this ^w^ Gonna try to work on doing the same for Emeril and a few other OCs
