“My favorite movie?” Harley had to think about it for a minute– he wasn’t much of a movie watcher, and he liked lots of different movies. “I’m gonna have to say Lilo and Stitch, I think. Which sounds kind of lame, but that movie still makes me cry when I watch it,” He replied. He was definitely a classic Disney kind of guy. “But its such a cute movie, you can’t possibly judge me for that,”

cameron never revealed a lot about himself, but he felt good right now and they were actually having interesting conversation. “the fact that you went disney is pretty cute,” he comments as he takes a sip of his beer. “i wont judge ya, it’s a good movie,” he nods. “ever seen the godfather? that’s mines.”

Cameron and Harley were about two beers in and Cameron had really been enjoying himself. It wasn’t like Cage had anything better to do tonight, besides he enjoyed the other’s company. And the other had to be hungry after his shift at the bar, the diner having good, or well decent coffee but really good food. “it’ll even be my treat.” He murmurs softly, giving a playful wink. He watches people getting their last drink and looks around before turning his attention over to Cameron again. Chuckling and shaking his head in amusement. “Nope, never because well you’re my first ever favorite bartender.”

“really? thanks,” cameron smiles lightly, noting that the boy really was sweet. they always had light and fun conversation but cameron didn’t know a lot of thing about him, he would definitely ask more questions tonight though. cameron start to make the last drinks that are ordered, the boy being pretty good at multitasking. “really?” he grins over at him, “is it because i add a cherry to your drinks?” he jokes. “well it’s an honor,” he winks at him.

Oliver played with his camera, trying to adjust his settings before eagerly putting it directly on Cameron. “You can talk now.” It was a talent of his, walking almost blindly as he focused through his lens onto Cameron. He captured him finding the umbrella and pulling it apart. It was interesting to watch, and it was even more interesting to think that they were barely acquaintances. Yet here they were, with Oliver following him around with a camera. This part of townw, it wasn’t a weird thing to see, but it felt a bit strange - though, in an interesting way. They didn’t know each other, not even their last names or anything truly in common. They were both creators, just trying to follow their craft in the six among tons of other artists around here. No one looking at them would think anything but two buddies, they shared a passion which had clearly brought them together despite the sour start which was the interruption of Oliver. “How do you pick things? Do you just see them and it comes to you?” The road was thinning out, the crowd moving away. It gave Oliver room to take a step back, having his camera focused now instead on Cameron’s upper body, his bag full of stuff and the broken umbrella in his hand. 

Cameron had definitely not expected their interaction to turn into this, but it was calming and it felt nice sharing his interests. especially with someone that wanted to visually document his process. “yeah, they just catch my eye and i grab it, examine it and see what comes to mind. sometimes they could be an addition to what im currently worling on or they give me an idea for the next,” he tells him with a nod. “sometimes if i’m super inspired i’ll have more than one piece in progress at once,” he adds happily. cameron swings the umbrella a bit as he looks around, trying to see if anything else would catch his eye. cameron wasn’t usually a talkative person but right now, he couldn’t stop. “my bags almost full though so maybe two or three more things?” he asks with a shrug.

“That sounds perfect, we love a good discount,” Harley said with enthusiasm, gesturing to the sidewalk. “Lead the way, gorgeous,” He encouraged, since he was still figuring out where everything was in town– and, lets be fair, Toronto was a decently sized city. 

cameron chuckles and begins to walk with the other, smiling at the compliment. “how long have you lived here?” he asked curiously as he indeed led the way. he hadn’t seen the other before, but cameron had only been here about half a year.

In all honesty, Cage enjoyed going to the bar when Cameron was there. The other was his favorite bartender and really easy to talk with. He did get annoyed at the drunks that tried taking him home though, never going home with the random’s of course. He finished his drink and looks around for a moment before turning his attention back to Cameron. They’d never hung out outside of the bar, but Cameron was easily one of Cage’s favorite people around. “That sounds perfect to me.” He gives a shake of his head, sliding his glass over for the other. “Nah, I’m good with the drinks. Can I get a bottle of water though?”

Usually after his shift at the bar, he walked the streets for a little bit before heading home, mostly to see if he could find more stuff for his art, but he could give up a night to spend some time with Cage. Why not? Plus, it was a bit reassuring that the other wanted to even see him outside of the bar. It meant that he wasn’t just a listening alcohol provider for the other and that felt pretty nice, he had to admit. "You got it,” he says as he goes to get him the water, checking the time and then smacking the bar to get everyone’s attention before calling out ‘Last call!’. Everyone would have a bit more time to finish up one more drink before Cameron had to close the bar. He handed Cage his water bottle and started to clear up his area, so he could close faster afterwards. “so do ya invited all of your favorite bartenders out for coffee?” he teases a little.

“Thanks, I try,” He replied, his charm working to his advantage as it usually did. It made him feel good, at least, that people desired him. “Sounds perfect,” He agreed, finishing what he was doing and heading into the back to clock out before meeting Cameron back at the front. “So, how are you feeling? Bar, club, dinner?” He asked, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his black jeans.

Cameron did as he said, waiting for the other outside, his hands in his pockets as he looked around casually. “well you said you were a bar guy, right? let’s do a bar,” he shrugs, “got a particular one in mind? the one called ‘the club’ near here i work at so we can get a better deal??”

Oliver watched him scatter to clean up all the junk. He took the opportunity to take his camera out of his bag once more. It didn’t stay put there long most times, inspiration always struck as soon as he spent his time putting it away nicely. “What do you do?” It was only fair, Cameron had asked him his job. He couldn’t imagine what was so bad he felt the need to be vague - especially in the village. “Enough talking about you and your process till I have the camera out. Shut up -” He whined jokingly, throwing his bag back over his shoulder and leading him out of the shop, throwing out his now empty coffee cup. “We can’t film in there, so let’s get going somewhere else. I know this place not far from the Annex.” He was glad Cameron gave off such a confident energy. It was draining to try an film someone who felt uncomfortable in front of the camera, there was nothing you could do without it. He turned on his camera, pointing it at him immediately.

Cameron made sure all of the items were in the bag and grabbed his coffee, standing up. “I work at the club and the local bar, gotta love tips,” he says as simply as possible. He didn’t care what people thought but he just didn’t want to tell the other details right now. The other was finally taking him seriously and he wanted to keep it that way. “Sorry,” he laughed and touched his own mouth as if to stop himself from saying anymore. He couldn’t help it that he just got so excited when it came to this art. He follows the other out, tossing his now empty coffee cup, surprised that he had finished it so quickly. “You’ve tried before?” he chuckled and nodded, following the other. Cameron was always a go with the flow kind of guy, so he was more than down to follow the blonde wherever. He loved new places too. New places meant new items to snag! Cameron had been too busy looking around, he hadn’t even noticed that the cameron was on him already. “Can I talk now?” he chuckles a little. He had never been in front of a camera before but he didn’t mind it one bit. Hell, he danced in front of a room full of people before, the male could handle being on camera. He then started to go in a little bit on what he said prior to the other, referring to his process and how he finds things from random places. Right when he touched his bag, he caught sight of something near him on the ground against a wall with no one around it. “like this!” it’s an umbrella. he opens it and sees that its broken, “see? the expansion part works which will go perfectly with the piece im going to start on soon,” he says examining the umbrella a little more. “the color isn’t my first pick but i can paint over it...” he shrugs. he had forgotten the camera was there to be honest, getting lost in finding more things as they continue to walk. it honestly felt like he was just talking to Oliver and to be honest, Cameron hadn’t really talked this much in a while, but the male is passionate when it comes to his art.

“You’re not saying no.” Kylan raised his eyebrows, a looking that almost challenged him. He was being unlike himself, and it started to make him feel like those around him was staring at him though he knew truly everyone was too busy to pay attention to anything they were doing. He took another step closer, two nearly face to face at this point. He took a moment, then moving away before Cameron could touch him. “It’s so nice out, could enjoy the view.” Kylan took a few steps ahead, leaving a bit of arm distance space between the two. He wasn’t the type to just fling like this, but this was impulsive and without much regret. Maybe that was from his inebriated state.

The other had got him right there, but Cameron didn’t have a reason to tell him no. At least not yet. “you always just go for what you want?” he asks, that being a bit of a loaded question. Cameron would be a liar if he said he didn’t like it when others hit on him, most of the time they couldn’t touch him though, mainly because he was usually dancing for them for their hard earned cash. After a long night of teasing though, it was nice to get some actual attention. Cameron stayed put, chuckling when the other pulls away after getting closer. Ah, a tease, nice change of pace for Cameron if he’s honest. He licks his lips and follows the other, keeping an eye on the way there in case he needs to find his way back to familiar parts. “Already am...” he says, still checking the other out as they walk. “did ya have a good night?”

It was routine at this point, spending a chunk of his night at the same bar, visiting with the same bartender. Cameron was attractive, that was no lie. But really, Cage just enjoyed talking to the other. Ordering himself another drink, Cage hums and watches as the place dies down, fingers tapping on the bar. Eyes going over to Cameron and sticking his tongue out playfully. “Hey…after this…what do you say we go get some coffee?” He finds himself blurting out.  @artisticallycameron

Cameron didn’t work every night at the bar, but when he did, he loved that one of his usual’s always came in. It made the night much more bareable, especially from the drunk that came in sometimes. Cameron was friendly always though, always having his eyes on the tips for the night. He could use any tips he got really. Cameron looked at the time when the other asked him to go to coffee, the pair not ever hanging out outside of the bar before. He had just finished making a martini for someone when he turned to look at the cute usual, Cage. “You know what, yeah... why not?” he smiled at the other, “After last call, we can head out, yeah?” he suggests. “Want a refill?” he points to the boy’s glass.

“He was cute, but his smile definitely was no match for yours,” Harley joked, still obviously flirting. He wasn’t fully expecting Cameron to agree to hang out with him, since they’d only just met, but it was a pleasant surprise. You miss all the shots you don’t take, after all. “Great,” Harley started, “I’m more of a bar guy than a diner guy, but I’ll follow you wherever you wanna go,”

Cameron blushed slightly with a nod, “nice save,” he winks at the male. “me too, how about you clock out while i get that library card and we’ll meet out front in ten?” he suggests but heads towards the front and does as he said he would. he gets the card and wait outside for the other, a bit excited if he’s honest.

Oliver adjusted in his seat. “Okay, good.” That gave him a new up and coming project for him to focus his energy on. And it wouldn’t be a bad thing, a reason for him to spend more time with Cameron. He couldn’t lie that he found him attractive, and he was sure with so much time spent between the two. It’d be easy, once he turned on the charm to just to get in bed with him. He kept that thought to himself though. “It’s a pretty sweet gig. I get to read what people talk about comics, talk about them, and still have time to work on my own stuff when i’m off. Plus enough money to live in the city.” That was due to some other extra curricular activities he dabbled in, like selling himself out and selling other things, but that wasn’t up for conversation here. “Sugar is gross.” He’d cut sugar out of his diet a while ago, but he didn’t bother sharing that because no one wanted to hear about his healthiness. “Okay, Yeah.”  Oli wasn’t the sculptural type, though he tried his best to follow along. It wasn’t hard though, imagine it now as he’d seen a few of his works and his style. “Do you just grab just anything and hope it’ll work? Wait, let’s go somewhere else!” He needed to capture this as they spoke, the moment was organic and last thing he wanted was to get kicked out of Starbucks again for filming. 

Caleb was getting a bit excited and he was glad that the other found an interest in him, even after being a bit standoffish with him. “That’s awesome. Yeah, with my jobs i get to explore a lot in the day time,” he shared, but didn’t get into specifics, “so i get that creative freedom in our free time,” he nods. “I do at first, but then i sit down at a place like this and look at everything i collected and then like filter it out a bit... examine and let the ideas flow, ya know?” he told him honestly. he had never had anyone really interested in his process so this felt pretty cool. cameron usually let others do the talking but right now he was enjoying sharing with the cute blonde. also, oliver may or may not have moved back up a few attractive points from earlier’s interaction. “wait what?” cameron asked as he looked at the other, “like.. right now?” he chuckles a bit, sees that the other is clearly excited and it looks good on him if he’s honest. cameron quickly starts to put the items on the table back in his bag. “you’d help me explore and find more things?”

“Harley,” He introduced himself, shaking Cameron’s hand. “You’re definitely the cutest boy I’ve seen today,” He complimented, retracting his hand back to his side and stuffing his thumb in his pocket. “I was about to clock out if you wanted to chat more,”

“Harley,” Cameron repeats with a light smile, checking him out a bit. The boy was really cute and Cameron never shied away from someone obviously flirting with him. “Nice to meet you. Today, huh? I can’t imagine what the boy from yesterday looked like,” he joked and took his hand back. Cameron was intrigued that the other wanted to hang out after his shift and since he had nothing else to do and he was enjoying the company so far, he nodded, “yeah, we can do that... i think there’s diner’s and bar’s down this block, why not?” he shrugged. “What are you in the mood for?”

“A few blocks. Above the Pizza Hut.” It was pretty convenient - it was his favourite bar. He would find himself to bring them home, get too high and then eat tons of pizza. It was like his walk between there and here, everyone started to recognize him. “If that’s not too far. You knows, tons of bad guys between here and there.” He puffed out a small breath. “Wouldn’t want anything to happen to me, you know?” He was really aying it on thick, trying to play up an angle of cuteness to encourage him. He stepped forward, putting a careful hand on Cameron’s hip.

Cameron nods, he knows he has a lot of cash in his pocket that he needs to keep safe, but the other doesn’t seem dangerous. either way, cameron grew up on the streets mostly so he could handle himself if anything. he grins and follows beside the other, licking his lips as he sizes him up a bit. The moonlight highlighting the others best features perfectly right now. “Exactly,” he smirks at the attractive male, licking his lips as his hip is touched. “i don’t think i told you you could touch me handsome....” he purrs, but stays put, staring back at the other.

“Yeah,” Harley started. “All you need to do is get a library card from the front desk. They make you fill out some paperwork but it’s like, one sheet. Mostly just your contact info,” He informed, turning his attention away from the books. “That’s cute, you should bring her. Plus it’d give me a reason to flirt with you again,” 

Cameron nodded, looking over to where the front desk was, making a mental note of that. He had never thought he’d be getting a library card, assuming they had died a while ago, but this place seemed pretty chill. Why not? “Oh sweet, cool, thanks,” he nods with a light smile. He was about to turn to go do as the male said but then his words keep him in place, causing him to smile wider. “Wouldn’t it?” he smirks at the other, “I should get that library card as soon as possible then, huh?” he chuckles. “i’m cameron by the way,” he holds his hand out.
