Finally posting my ocs from my Growing Pains story. This is Riley, a scientist researching soulmate bonds. Jaded by love from her parents' toxic relationship and her own personal relationships, she is specifically interested on how to break soulmate bonds. When her soulmate and former crush breaks up with her girlfriend and comes back into town, Riley's not sure how she'll be about to co-exist with her. But it's fine because she's over her, right?

I figured I should post this month so here's a magical girl AU of Priya and Juliette from Wish You Weren't Here by Erin Baldwin, one of the best books I've read this year. I probably can't draw until the end of my exams cause I got a usb head stuck in my only usb slot and I can't connect my wacom otherwise.

Basically, Priya becomes a magical girl after finding that the necklace from her grandmother gives here the power to vanquish evil artifacts that possess people, exacerbate negative emotions, and cause the host to wreak havoc (like miraculous ladybug). The thing is, little does she know that her necklace is also one of these artifacts. Juliette, on the other hand, is part of an organization that captures these artifacts and tries to store them away from the public (since they are hard to destroy complete, and if it shatters into pieces, the artifacts just just multiplied into those pieces). They see Priya as one of the people with these artifacts but also find it useful how she is doing half the work for them. They are finding the perfect time, when the artifacts are running out, to subdue Priya as well. But when Priya notices ninja like figures in the night, typically after a fight she's had, she tries to confront them. Priya and Juliette develop a sort of batman/Catwoman relationship, but they have no idea that they're actually classmates, ones that have hated each other since elementary school at that.
