"Hmm…" He seemed lost in thought for a moment at the mention of the frizzy hair, and he just thought of it for a moment. "When I was younger, my hair used to poof up. Half of the reason it is straight is because of the weight of it." He shrugged, and left it at that, or at least with his own hair as the topic.
He brought a hand up to gesture at the other’s hair. “May I?” He wanted to be sure it was alright before inspecting it to see if he could offer any help for the other’s issue. “Typically, Frizzing is because of the lack of moisture in the hair… Have you tried lemon and honey?”
Even then, he merely offered a smile to the other, and on the terms of the name, he really didn’t know either person, but he did merely confirm the name. “Lord Koboyakawa, then.” He merely kept his smile on before holding his hand up for the other to stop.
"That’s good enough… You don’t need to try and explain all the bonds. I believe you." Really, he didn’t know who Hanbei was, nor what Zhao had been doing, but he didn’t really mind it either way, as it was just something that they could speak on, yet he wanted the other to be comfortable enough that he wouldn’t have to pick and choose his words carefully.
The conversation was hard enough without adding politics to it.
"I already know the timelines are mixed. I wouldn’t be surprised if you read about me that way. Ishida Mitsunari had cleared up my misconceptions of this new world." He explained, and was glad that to get here, at least, he was still a part of the coalition, just not in the same area. He preferred to travel anyway, as long as it was safe.
He was a Survivalist, and didn’t mind it.
"Either way… I ask that you do not tell me what happens after my brother, Shi, is made the head of the Sima family. I’d rather not know the future if I can help it."
