I drew up a big ol' batch of crows!! I'm planning to have these animals as characters in my final drawing for Perspective, so I needed to draw some to know what I was doing later. I'm very pleased with them!

I hope y'all like 'em too!

The 'Alalā (Hawaiian Crow) for day 8 of Avian August! 🖤

These guys are the only surviving native crow species in Hawai'i, but are currently considered extinct in the wild which is a huge shame. I'm hoping The 'Alalā Project will successfully reintroduce captive bred 'Alalā to the wild in the future!!

blood pools (downwards) like any liquid & really is there any thing that doesn't love gravity with a helpless inevitability like the pooling of liquids (blood) into the well of it

Sentience dripping off of the eaves of being, cascade rivulets of thought mixed in with tears and stardust,

I watch as we all watch time

cogwheel minutes spinning, heart — a steampunk song, and drops of loneliness feigning intimacy with a paintbrush

as it rolls across the canvas.
