Robert Robertson themed scrapbook page!

!Under the cut for blood!

Ok! So, I’m gonna yap a bit because I love how this page came out!! The inspo came from this dog calendar from last year I wanted to use for scrap booking so that is where the background peice is from. I saw the quote “Dogs’ lives are too short. Their only fault really.” And that’s so Robert ‘the family tradition, if there is one, is dying in that suit’ Robertson III imo. ALSO. On that note I cut out a bunch of both human and dog facial features to show the feeling of dehumanizing oneself because I like the way Robert sees himself more as a means of an end to continue the Mechaman lineage then an actual person. Because my scrapbooking is pretty much junk journaling with extra steps i usually have more cute food packages and calendars than anything moody so I ended up coloring over the pictures with markers to give them a dark wash. I also used the red net oranges are often sold in as it reminded me of a chain link fence

thinking about herm being some kind of ocean god and robert stumbling over him by accident and being the only human who ever talked to the ocean god in decades and herm is immediately amused by this human and they're so in looooove oh ho ho hoooooo

Yayyyyy!!! More of my villain waterboy(aka rust)! First drawing is based on the album cover of Wonder What’s Next bc the song Comfortable Liar really reminds me of him. I didn’t finish the third drawing and don’t know if I will so I figured I’d just post it now.

I think Waterboy is scared of touching people, like hover-handing or standing a bit away on group photos, apologizing endlessly for bumping into people, being good at verbally comforting people but avoiding hugs or other physical comfort, that sort of thing. He’s afraid to get people wet, to weird them out. But once someone has assured him that they infact don’t mind, he’s all for hugging, cuddling, holding hands ect. Visual aids attached:
