4: Kurt saw himself skinny…this is also very similar than the crucified old Jesus in ‘Heart Shaped Box’ video.

5 & 5′: Two statuettes of the Virgin Mary. Kurt loved flying sculptures depicting the Virgin Mary in the graveyard and paint tears of blood under her eyes; they were then exposed at their apartment (Tracy Marander and Kurt) in Olympia, 1987-88. Kurt’s passion for the Virgin Mary is also shown in a horror film, which he made in 1984. The film is entitled “Kurt’s Bloody Suicide” and you can see a Virgin Mary with bloody tears in it several times.
