Drew a little something that I started a while back in celebration of Revenge of the Fifth as well as to the conclusion of season one of the Maul, Shadow Lord series! Originally had this planned for May the Fourth but this took a little longer than anticipated.

SW fandom, I present to you, Voca Lu, a Twi'lek Jedi who is also a nerd

If you thought she is from the High Republic, you would be wrong. This is where the nerd bit somes in.. she adore the High Republic and its Jedi and stories. If she could, she would go back in time and live in that era. But alas, she is stuck in the prequels era.

I havent figured out a master for her, but Im sure she'll get one eventually >^<

And yes that is some sort of tech above her eye, dunno what yet XD

I absolutely love that they did this. The implications of Maul's rage channeling through the force into his saber is such a cool idea that's completely in line with the unique connection to the force he seems to have.

He's intuned and deeply entrenched in the dark side, and it makes sense, he was able to survive mortal injury because of it, but his connection to the force in general is a really cool aspect of his character.

he has visions and premonitions, he's an absolute tank in his force abilities, and he's reverent about his codes and mantras. I would honestly love to get an episode of maul just explaining his philosophy on the force. it's meaningful to him in a way we never really see from other characters, and it would be so fun if we could actually see how he trains an apprentice. He's already come to the conclusion that his master was unnecessarily cruel to him, so he wouldn't train Devon like his master had done to him. It would be a completely new take to the darkside.

He's a sith full of rage, but then he does little ceremonies like meditate over tea

Or this scene of him going zen, practicing sword forms with his eyes closed like a samurai

Man, they really just keep making Maul so much cooler. I hope this show actually goes the route of Maul teaching Devon simply for the fact that I would love to see it
