the alternative reality in chapter 138 is not mikasa’s delusion (i saw some antis saying this)

1. isayama wouldn’t waste a chapter on it. i know it’s really hard for some people to hear, but he adores mikasa. he wouldn’t humiliate her like this.

2. in that alternative reality, eren asks mikasa to give up the scarf. to forget him after his death. why would mikasa dream of something like this? in the middle of a battle?? 

3. this alternative reality has the ‘see you later’ scene from the first chapter. that means eren dreamed of this alternative reality too. 

4. eremika is canon. eren considered giving up fighting and abandoning paradis to its fate if it meant he could live his four remaining years with mikasa. in peace. secluded. in a cottage. how many beds were there. 

5. ‘what am i to you’ is a romantically charged scene. the fact that people deny it is ridiculous.

we need to wait for the official translation. that being said, eremika was always extremely important. the problem is, people don’t analyze canon, they’re projecting their biases onto it. this manga really doesn’t deserve it.

First of all, I'm so sick of the "oh God it GOT again" like...it really isnt.

Second of all THIS ISNT THE LAST CHAPTER. WE HAVE ANOTHER MONTH. Please just wait for the ending to this story before you get all "I can't forgive this story or the author I'm over this franchise" because...its not over???? I mean, yeah shit ain't looking up at the moment lmao but it's not over yet!!!!

Theres still plot points that haven't been solved and I dont think Yams is gonna ditch them quite yet. Such as Historia's baby and what relevance that has. Or Armin being the narrator...

Idk what will happen to everyone who turned into titans. I am holding out hope that they will be saved in the last chapter. It all feels so sudden and so pointlessly gut wrenching that I'm holding out hope it's a last minute moment filled with utter hopelessness meant to hurt us...right up until they're given back to us. As in, it's the set up for the eventual pay off that will come with the breaking of Ymir's curse. When we get Connie back and hes reunited with his mother, since I'm certain that's the reason he's lasted this long. And we get Jean back...

But I do have the clown makeup ready in case Yams proves me wrong lmao.

It just feels like Yams's "I want to hurt the readers" comment is in relation to Mikasa x Eren. And Mikasa killing Eren. Because, no hate to the other ships, but its always seemed so...clear that out of all the ships this was the one that was going to become real. And I think a love that can never be realised is what he means by hurting the readers.

So, please. Its march not April. The story isnt over yet. Dont spiral before we know how this is going to end.

I still get chills by how much parallels Isayama has created from the start to now. There's many criticisms about his work but he definitely created one of the most beautiful and tragic universes. I can't believe it's going to end next month already. I hope the fandom will thank him for this beautiful masterpiece that has opened our eyes to see the world in different perspectives.
