Crystal Gem Glowups: a study

Amethyst:

Roughly looks the same; hair a little shorter, clothes a little more stylish

Agree 200% with Pearl about the shoulder strap (ily ames but so not a look)

Got the self confidence she deserves and the maturity she needed (but still remained hilarious and irreverent)

Overall glowup: 8/10

Garnet:

Better color pattern IMO - I like the brighter palette more than her first look, plus the gradient on the star is much nicer

Smaller visor, slightly smaller hair, both of which I feel balance her form more - however, I love Garnet/Ruby’s weird unique bouncy hair no matter what size it is

And of course, much more expressivity and liveliness in her personality, but still an incredibly metal gay badass

Glowup quality: 9.5/10

there’s my homegirl, the bird woman herself

Pearl:

Either spent the entire 2 weeks she took to regenerate in Steven the Sword Fighter de-oblonging her head or hit some kind of latent gem puberty

Got a bitchin’ new look and generally skyrocketed in overall badassery

Reaffirmed her status as the most amazing gay criminal in the world (and got some more pink lady ass)

Found and began to love herself for who she is, not who she serves
