She understood. She certainly knew she wasn’t good for him, or Shio anymore, but she would stilll.. try. She’d try. She didn’t want Asahi to be sad & she knew just how Shio had ended up. She wondered, if it’d have been better if she kept her, just killed the bastard earlier, just gotten Asahi earlier.
But now it was too late. Shio seemed.. so far gone and there was nothing they could do about it.
“..It’ll be okay, Asahi..”
“H-How? Shio is...Shio is...” Despair never felt as overwhelming as it did now. It felt as though everything he had gone through was meaningless. His one true happiness was at the end of his fingertips but before he could grasp it, it fell apart.
“Shio is gone.” The tears finally began running at the admission, bringing him to his knees as sobs wracked his body.
