I have spent the last week diving deep into the world of IGTV, listening to different perspectives, learning about history that has slipped through the cracks, and doing the introspective work on my own biases and how I might bring those into my business. I know posting and reposting on social media is not enough and I am committed not to let it stop there. I plan to continue doing the work, educating myself on how I can show up as a better Ally and how Asana Armor can better serve and show up authentically for our customers. I am inspired by the vast majority of responses I’ve seen in the past week (can I get a Ben and Jerry’s please?!) and am encouraged by the legislative actions that have been proposed and steps taken by organizations including the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Campaign Zero, and the Black Lives Matter Global Network. I stand behind these organizations and will use my voice and resources to support these policy changes. I encourage you to do the same. Sign a petition, email a representative, and exercise your right to vote! I hope you will join me for a donation based Virtual Vinyasa class this Saturday 6/13/20 at 10:30am. 100% of proceeds will be donated to the ACLU.
