this is kind of a long-time coming now...
but, i have felt discouraged on thor and it’s not for a lack of love or muse for him... i am admittedly uncertain what did it... maybe it was school, maybe it’s the climate of the marvel fandom, who knows. either way, he is going on a hiatus. i silently placed him on one not long ago, but it feels a little more like i should announce it properly. my apologies to writing partners that were excited about plots, ideas and threads... perhaps one day soon i will feel encouraged again to be over here, i love thor as a muse, i do... but, yeah.
if you do crave to write with me? i am currently active, though both are medium to low activity, over on: @recurse and @hellnite.

i feel bad doing this, but so far? in starting up classes and the like… i have had far for muse for @recurse — in that? both hel / @dauthr and thor / @asatorr are shifting to a more secondary muse position. i will still write them, i have some starters and drafts i am still working on… and i still plot and discuss things for the both of them on discord.
they will just be slower muses than before, i may even start queuing my replies and such on them. i understand if you’d rather unfollow or slow blogs aren’t your preference — but please note, i am not abandoning them.

being sexual or enjoying sex is perfectly fine.
sex is indeed a natural thing.
but shoving sexuality and or even sensuality in the faces of your dash? acting like people not feeling sex positive or not enjoying sex is some kind of attack on your sensibilities? making it out like someone’s disinterest in writing smut or refraining from sexual content on their blog makes them boring or other? is really kind of fucked up. you have no idea why those people lack in your perceived sex positivity or an enjoyment of sex. they could have been abused. they could have been assaulted. they could have body dysmorphia. they could have gender dysphoria. they could be trans. they could be any variety of ace. they could have health issues that contribute in some manner. they could be an amalgam of some or all of the above. there are likely reasons i missed and i mean no offense with that — i am sorry if i missed a reason that relates to you.
but people not liking to see sexual content on their dash or asking that you tag content appropriately is not an attack on sex positivity. it’s not an attack on anything.
it’s them protecting themselves.
i want us to start looking at the other side of sex positivity… or rather to create a side where: we make people feel okay for not being sex positive. we say it’s okay to be a virgin or to not enjoy sex. we make people feel okay for being sex repulsed. we create safe spaces for victims of abuse or assault where sex is not purported to be relative to their value. we normalize asexuality instead of erase it. we let people know that whether it’s gender dysphoria or body dysmorphia — it’s okay to be scared, to refrain, to not want to see it.

alrighty, so...
i wanna apologize, which i know i don’t need to, for my slowness in terms of activity, especially here on thor. i have not lost muse or anything --- i’ve just been plotting a lot for @dauthr and for thor behind the scenes, i.e. in ims and on discord, more-so than directly on the dash. i do want to get some of his drafts done this weekend though, before my classes / fall semester begins.

even if you yourself are not acting upon something ignorant --- to state that the only thing to consider in all this is some thing about how a good amount of people in the community use mobile and that’s not as easy to deal with? IS IGNORANT. you are suggesting an ignorant excuse which provides support, whether intended or not, to an ignorant mentality.
if you cannot see that or don’t understand that? that is on you.
also, if you feel the need to list off excuses that in essence support the anons that @marcadosol received and the mentality / stigma they promote? then please unfollow me, because whether you believe you’re being ignorant or not? you are saying something ignorant and thus, you are betraying yourself and being ignorant.
@moltivolti: The only thing OP needs to take into consideration that a surprising amount of users on here are mobile only so you.. can't do that on mobile.
my biggest problem with this as a reply to my post? is it’s kinda bullshit. if you are mobile, you are likely on a smart phone, tablet or similar device --- there are ways in the app and most mobile browsers to touch and hold to highlight thus allowing you to select that text to google it. if you’re not willing to take time to research something you don’t understand? that’s on you and as i said, you can unfollow or choose not to follow in the first place.
lbr, there really is no need to be trying to excuse ignorance with saying that that’s the ONLY thing i need to consider with this. and yes, i’m @’ing you because your response is just about as ignorant as the anons that @marcadosol received.
