A SavSide Story

October 2013, I reached a point in my life where I wanted something bigger for myself! Something that could not have been more understood until I had a dream about it. Taking a step back, I started to feel like a child with no care; no care about what people would think of my imagination, and much less to their expectations of me. In this new freedom of self I began writing a story; a story so vivid, so real to me that I couldn't just tell it in a song. I am an artist, I am music, and I've written, directed and edited this short film. Peeled from a chapter of my life, I give to you..... "A Sav Side Story". UNLIKE Festival Wrap Up & Winner, I was on Daybreak today with Badir Awe and Janne Koivisto to talk about the festival and winning the award for best film. Much respect to Cayman 27.

The UNLIKE Festival saw a crowd of people who went out to enjoy Cayman's arts and culture. Marzeta Bodden caught up with Janne Koivisto, Badir Awe and Josh Pearl.

A Savsidede Story wins best film at the Unlike Film Festival and now will be seen worldwide

A Sav Side Story beat out the competition to win the Unlike Festival's short film award. Some 16 movies were entered in the competition, including Cayman's most recent short film the Devil You Know.

My short film A Savside Story won the "Best Short Film" Award at the Unlike Film Festival.

Words cannot describe how I feel about everyone who made it possible to help me sell out my first film ever. Thank you to everyone who showed love and came to the premiere and after party. Thanks to Camana Bay Regal Theater for the opportunity, seeing a Denzel Washington commercial play right before your film starts is an amazing feeling. This is the start to something amazing that we as Caymanians can grow with and it does not stop here.
