Byakruan’s eyes flicked down at his phone and it was a number he didnt’ recognize, requesting...medical assistance.

For whatever reason, Shoichi’s expression remained twisted in mild concern. He was missing something and it was nagging at the back of his mind. This wariness was unshakeable and he was starting to realize that it was linked to the beginnings of those pangs of anxious pain in his stomach.
Sho-chan? They weren’t nearly familiar enough with each other for his roommate to be calling him by informal nicknames. Quite frankly, it made him uncomfortable. More so than that, it triggered a wave of deja-vu.
No one had ever called him that before.. and yet it all seemed so familiar. He was beginning to space out as if he was reaching for memories he felt he should have, but he was coming up blank.
A sudden sharp pain through his temple forced him to quit thinking about it.
Once more, he hissed in pain, bringing a hand up to the side of his head, only to realize Byakuran had been beckoning him back to reality, as well as insisting on calling him by that ridiculous nickname.
“S-Sorry… uh… headache…. uhm.. Wha-what were we talking about? Oh! Yeah! The uh.. the rooms!”
Ah yes.. the room.. the room he was still locked out of. Pushing his previous frustration and anxieties aside, he was reminded of his actual, current predicament and he sighed.
“Actually… I was only in there to drop my stuff off… I kinda.. uhm.. locked myself out after I went to the bathroom….”
He avoided making eye contact as his cheeks flushed slightly.
Byakuran watched Sho-chan squirm as though he was struggling with something the red head sure acted funny whenever they met. Not that this version knew anything about all that most likely, still, it entertained him to no end the bespectacled man was just so interesting. Though it did displease the snow haired demon a bit to see him in pain, that took the fun out of it a little bit must have been some headache, for now the don glossed over how peculiar the whole thing was in favor of pursuing the fun conversation they were having at least fun for him.
Locked himself out, how very Sho-chan of him.
“Ne ne, no need to be embarrassed it’s a new school and freshman year happens to the best of us.” The pseudo-god then raised his arm so his roommate could see the rubber bracelet with the room key attached to it.
“No need to worry I can let you right back in~ I wasn’t doing anything anyways right now just debating if I should go to a party later.” he considered asking the green eyed one on the spot to go with him but, not yet it was a bit to early for that later today he would not right now. Instead Byakruan began retreating towards their room gesturing to Shoichi to follow chattering the whole way there about anything, the food, the people he’d seen so far, the classes they’d be taking anything at all to fill the silence until he opened the door.
“And here we are, home again home again safe and sound~”

[text]: Hey Sho-chan, do you ever wish you could take something back, but knew you couldn’t? ?^?
A frown tugged downwards at the corners of Shoichi’s lips. He was much more perceptive than others assumed, but, simultaneously, he wondered if Byakuran had already seen past the red-head’s perception.
Though he couldn’t earnestly say he was concerned for the other, the inklings of guilt that plagued him could hardly be considered as anything other than concern, really.
[txt]: I won’t make you tell me anything you don’t want to.
He considered even sending the next part for fear of seeming too vulnerable– for fear of sounding like he actually cared..
[txt]: I’d listen if you ever wanted to talk, though.
Funny how guilt spurred a lot of actions.
Byakuran stared down at the message long enough for the second to come through and then stared at that one even longer, this led to almost half an hour of reply in his response. Could it be Sho-chan still actually cared even a little after all this time all that had gone on,t he white haired don doubted that. As wonderful as that thought sounded to Byakuran as soothing as it was he didn’t believe it for an instant. Sho-cha was under no obligation to care if ANYTHING he probably felt responsible for Byakuran and his actions as he always had.
The demon bit his lip before responding.
[text]: That’s sweet Sho-chan, but, you know not everything is your fault and it’s not your responsibility to manage me as though I were a child. :O
[text]: Albeit a dangerous one, I’m sure you have better things to do. ^v^
Violet eyes stared out the window at the night sky and for the what seemed like hundredth time since he’d started this conversation against his better judgement Byakuran sighed.
[text]: After all I put you through I think you’d want to be free of me by now.

Byakuran-sama was going to be mad, wasn’t he? There was going to be a punishment, wasn’t there?
Daisy’s lip quivered. He broke it….
Wait… Maybe MAURICE broke it….
“I’m sorry, Maurice…..b-but I have to blame you.”
A sacrifice worth making.
Byakuran sat in his office most of the day awaiting another persistent text from his subordinate on the matter. However, curiously he received none, after the days hours came and passed and the obnoxious paperwork was all but completed the boss rose. Either something happened, or more likely Daisy was getting himself in trouble somewhere out of the supervision of the other funeral wreaths he couldn’t have that so he went to find the sea weed headed kid only to find him alone looking rather anxious.
“Daisy-kun? You’re looking pretty green around the gills there hmm?” he snickered at his own awful joke before taking just a touch more serious of a tone.
“What happened?”
The Quiet One | Chikusa & Byakuran
“That statement doesn’t hold up. I doesn’t take someone who shares the trait to realize a fact. I don’t have to be a girl to realize someone is a girl,” He explained in boredom, glancing over at the wall. “That’s painfully inaccurate and over all?” He lit up another cigarette, this one normal, “Over all, it’s a stupid statement.”
The white haired devil actually snickered at the retort, it should have bothered him more but something entertaining occurred to him. This was the most he’d seen Mukuro-kun’s bar-coded companion ever speak. All of which in futile arguing with him of all people, it was very interesting really, the Gesso Don raised an eyebrow at that one.
Sure some of the things the teen had said effected him or bothered him but, to argue like this with Byakuran gained one nothing. No matter what the false god was feeling he’d just bury it all under a smirk or snide remark it was his greatest and most impregnable defense tactic.
“Truly there is nothing you can’t turn around on it’s side Chikusa-kun. Good thing you’re so good with words you and your blonde friend’s battle capacities are so low you wouldn’t be of much use to Mukuro-kun otherwise. You especially haven’t shown too much noteably unique, though you’re weapons are quite entertaining looking haha.” while Byakura was aware of their skills, compared to himself, Tsunayoshi, Mukuro-kun, the Varia, and others they fell down on the scale easily.
“Feel free to try and turn that around, it’ll be funny to see you try to twist and irrefutable fact sad really~”

Daisy stared at Maurice, ignoring the buzzing of his phone. Ten minutes had passed, and Maurice had woven quite the intricate web.
Oh….had Byakuran-sama replied?
He reached for the flip phone, accidentally pushing it off of the bed.
Smash.
Oh…..oops.
Byakuran waited about twenty minutes for Daisy’s reply, upon getitng no response the don continued about his day. Hoping that his last stern message had gotten through the zombie’s thick skull somehow not wanting to talk about this matter any longer.
He may have been care free but the white haired demon was actually pretty busy from the perspective of a boss.
Ah, how he hated all this busy work but what choice did he have? No, there was no time for a cat at all.

Byakuran stared at his phone for some time considering the message Shoichi his ‘best friend’ sent him after he’d approached him about the Curse of the Rainbow and Yuni chan and sighed. In a way the false god could have predicted such a response after all Sho-chan had all the memories of their future of what Byakruan had done.
It was only natural, how the demon wished he was still that a heartless monster who could not care about such words...but he wasn’t.
[text]: I don’t.
They’d have to seek someone else’s help about Verde’s machine that or Yuni-chan would have to talk to him herself. Byakuran could not do this.
The Quiet One | Chikusa & Byakuran
“You have feelings?” Chikusa knew the fact that he still was alive was a damn good sign that it didn’t hurt him the way he hoped. But, that was fine. He could work with this. “..That’s news to me,” He ran a hand through his bangs, letting his hat fall dow n just enough to cover his eyes.
The white haired demon flinched only internally at the bespectacled teen’s comment about feelings. Those sorts of jabs were not foreign to Byakruan’s ears but he hated hearing them just the same, the don did his best not to let it show though and reply to continue the banter.
“Hmm really? Well it would take one to know one wouldn’t it Chikusa-kun....someone without feelings.” the smile stayed plastered strong on his lips, it always did.

Naturally skeptical and generally annoyed by other people, all Shoichi really wanted to do was walk away. Even having received an apology, though he was just as at fault as the white-haired man was, did nothing to make him feel any better. In fact, he felt uncomfortable. There was something off about this guy…
“I’m Byakuran Gesso….”
The name echoed in his head over and over again until it clicked.
THIS WAS HIS ROOMMATE.
He had just EMBARRASSED himself in front of his ROOMMATE… For a moment, he felt as though there was something more he should be worried about upon hearing his name. It sounded much more familiar than the single glance at a printed piece of paper…
His cheeks went rosy and his expression turned decidedly more flustered and uncomfortable as the red-head awkwardly slipped his hand into Byakuran’s.
“Hi…. My name’s Shoichi….. Irie Shoichi….” It was pointless to leave out the fact that they were roommates, either the man would know from just hearing his name, or he’d find out soon enough. After all, Shoichi still needed his help to get back into the room after having locked himself out.
His stomach was starting to hurt a little.
“I-It’s alright.. they’re fine.” He said with a deep sigh as he pulled off his glasses and took a closer look at them. Even if they’d been scratched, he was capable of putting up with it just to avoid being too much of a burden on his roommate already.
Byakuran continued to smile as the shock crawled all over Sho-chan’s face it was actually pretty cute. Though the white haired demon decided not to tease him too much, after all he wanted to get off on the right foot. The smiling man gently shook his hand and quickly let go to make him more comfortable and he sighed pretending to feel at least kind of as uncomfortable as the man before him. Violet eyes started to make note of his odd gestures almost as though he were in pain....curious indeed.
The don then forced a look of sudden realization and enlightenment when the red head spoke his name.
“Oh, Sho-chan I was wondering when my roommate was going to show up.” his patented smile returned to his face though he tried to make it seem a bit warmer. Violet eyes had a look around assessing the surroundings and his roommate before speaking, today might be more entertaining than he once thought.
“Have you been to the room yet Sho-chan? They’re pretty nice especially for a college um....Sho-chan earth to Sho-chan hellooooo???”
Shoichi kept the strangest look on his face and the violet eyed man had to beat down his amusement for fear of appearing sadistic as he truly was.
The Quiet One | Chikusa & Byakuran
His past, the ‘family’ he belonged to, the people who stole him from his home, from happiness. That was crossing a line. He was angry, upset, and also suffering with a severe lack of self preservation. The result? “I had rolemodels. They were horrible people. The reminded me of you, cowards. They hide behind their intimidation attempts and preying on the weak to maintain power.. Perhaps, is that why your red-haired friend left you for Vongola?”
My my my, did he really think bringing up Sho-chan would effect him on the level he had just gotten to the glasses teens goat..unlikely. While it bothered Byakuran Sho-chan had left him but, he’d had so much time to brace himself for it that it didn’t have the same bite one might think.
“Ne ne, well that’s just unfortunate, are you trying to hurt my feelings Chikusa-kun? So close but you missed the mark~!”

Daisy was having a surprisingly good day at the time, now the owner of a new pet spider named Maurice. Maurice was relatively excitable, especially when compared to Mortimer. Mortimer had been placed in the freezer when Daisy’s room got too warm. Would Maurice like cats? Maybe Byakuran-sama would let him have the stray that he’d found earlier…
His phone was making the buzzing noise again…had Byakuran-sama sent him something?
He stalked over to the flip phone, fumbling with it a bit before managing to open it.
…..no? No cats? [Text]: but it wuz lonily.
Byakuran sighed, in part at the Sun Funeral Wreath’s grammar in part because of the insistence that should have been dropped. Maybe he should send Dasiy to school it woudl help with the grammar he was still young enough but....no that was a terrible idea it would end only in blood and death.
The Millefore don tapped his foot staring out the window and then at his text groaning to himself trying to bite back irritation.
As much as he loved cats it seriously was not a good idea he streatched and texted back.
[text]: No means no Daisy-chan. Besides we’re very busy it will still be lonely here. :/

Byakuran immediately regretted sending the text to begin with best on Shoichi’s next reaction he sighed, it was easy enough to fake over text.

Shoichi stared at the text, wondering. Was Byakuran actually alluding to something? Was he wracked with guilt? Or was it something completely inane and irrelevant?
[txt]: Well yeah… Sometimes.
Byakuran sighed at Sho’s response, giving a deep frown that of course no one was around to see before responding.
[text]: I see well, thank you for telling me so Sho-chan. :)
The man sent the mask of a smile he himself couldn’t presently conjure it’s not like anyone, even Sho-chan could tell when something was really eating him right?

2) Their relationship with their mother
Byakruan’s mother was a very beautiful woman she is the source of his albinism and he takes most of his looks from her. However, she was very sick as he grew up and he only got to see her while she was home but she was constantly going in and out of the hospital. When she was home they spent time together in her flower garden she taught him all the names of all the flowers and what they meant as well as how to take care of them.
Byakuran would visit his mother in the hospital and bring her cut flowers form the garden which he took care of while he was out. She died when he was ten, and that was how he first learned the fragility of life and became jaded to the fragility of human life.
5) What their socioeconomic status was growing up
Byakuran’s mother possessed copious wealth for reasons never explained to him, it paid her hospital bills and also afforded them a giant mansion with a full array of hired help. Even with all the hospital bills and her funeral she still left her son with enough money to live more than comfortably for the rest of his life.
6) What their home life was like growing up
Byakruan was raised by nursemaids and servants, his father had walked out before he’d even been born and he was never told anything of the man. He was home schooled by professional tutors, watched by nursemaids, cleaned up after by handmaids and thoroughly educated in a n aristocratic setting.
Though, the full brunt of aristocratic society was not enforced on him his mother never wanted anyone tell him how to dress, act, or think she was a kind woman who wanted the best for her son while still allowing him to have free choice. However, with her separation form the household she could never have seen the kind of man Byakuran was becoming or the kind of things her illness was causing him to grow into.
8) What weak points their childhood has given them
Byakuran’s childhood has riddled him with weaknesses he’s extremely good and hardening himself to. He became jaded with ‘humans’ upon his mothers death, he never went to school never formed bonds with others, he never had to understand the struggles of those working hard he just never had to understand anyone or anything. The world revolved around Byakruan who was always naturally gifted and possessed many talents so it defiantly seeded the begging of the god complex his abilities fully cemented.
He also never learned how to cook, clean, or do his own laundry and is basically a gigantic child when it comes to basic adult tasks so there’s that.
16) The biggest sacrifice they make for their family
Whenever his mother was home no matter what he wanted to do that day Byakuran would drop it for however long she was home and just do whatever his mother wanted. He would spend time with her, help her get around, anything and it was the only time the child was completely unselfish.
After his defeat in the future Byakuran swore to try to get better for his mafia family as well if only to himself. He has since been trying to get better at socializing outside of just niceties, business and manipulation.
18) Their happiest family memory
Laying in the sun in his mother’s garden with her, counting clouds in the sky and waiting for the orchids to bloom. She read him books and told him stories and before the night was over they toasted marshmallows, that day he got to see one of the orchids bloom right before his own eyes and his mother explained she’d named him because of them.
19) Their most upsetting family memory
Sadly this immediately follows the previous memory, that didn’t last a little while into the night his mother woke coughing violently and they rushed her to hte hospital. Despite being so young he would not hear of not going and she would not go without her son, she knew it was her time and she wouldn’t see him again but, Byakuran didn’t know.
He watched his mother die in that ambulance holding her hand long before they EVER reached the hospital. It was upon her death Byakruan cursed the world that could not save her and everything in it, deciding somehow some day he would make a perfect world one without boring people who couldn’t even save someone like his mother.

Nothing, his mother is dead and his father was never a part of his life.

Byakruan giggled at the familiar sight of Daisy’s atrocious text spelling however he immediately frowned when he deciphered the contents. The silver demon had SWORN he had covered this with the sun funeral wreath a hundred times but apparently not. It was as though the Millefore Don hated animals he loved them in fact however, that was exactly why he didn’t want the living corpse ANYWHERE near them they wouldn’t survive long.
The seaweed headed kid couldn’t even keep pet bugs alive for a DAY.
