Pavo textiles Caramel etini size 6 This wrap is the epitome of babywearing perfection! Moldable like a second skin, cush galore but still unbelievably thin, memory foam squishness and softer than a kittens belly! It is a cotton alpaca blend and has been nicknamed "The baby levitator". I can tell you now that it truly lives up to that name. I wore my nugget for a 2 hour long wrap nap and didn't feel any strain of pressure and we now have a snuggly new favourite wrap in our stash!! Pavo textiles Venus Aspect 7

This wrap has absolutely taken my breath away! Not only because of the gorgeous saturated colors and the perfectly neutral black but because of the wrapping qualities. It is like a chameleon conforming to your every need. Fantastic stretch, perfect glide, flannely soft, just because its soft doesn’t mean there is no grip and it is thin but not at all uncomfortable or diggy. This is truly squish to toddler worthy. I am not normally a fan of rainbows but Pavo absolutely knocked it out of the park with Venus Aspect! I would recommend this wrap to newbies and veteran babywears any day!

Vandeloo Naya twill weave wine weft 3.4m

I’m not really a handwoven person. I have had a lot of different handwoven’s come through my stash and the only one before now to stay was my Pamir. However Vandeloo Naya is seriously making me doubt everything ! I now need all the Vandy’s because this wrap is the bees knees! I am not entirely sure how Jamie can weave such magical wraps but oh my ! Its just perfection! I pulled it out of the package and it was like this squishy, foamy, marshmallowy pile of fluff that was still thin. It is so cushy ( I mean look at those ruck straps above) and fantastic to wrap with ! I now need another in a base size!

This weekend was filled with some fabulous pavo wearing! Wrap naps & many snuggles. Family is in town which means overstimulated babies who don't like being held by anyone but mom and dad.

    Saturday morning consisted of  Pavo crystal sea smoke 2 in a RRRR because this wrap is up for anything and lasted about 4 hours without any discomfort.

    Saturday evening/nights duties went to Unicornio Storm in another RRRR. So comfy and perfect for all of our bedtime needs.

    Sunday morning Mass went to Farrand Soir 2 in a rebozo. <3

    The rest of Sunday was dedicated to one of our favorite snuggly wraps Aquaria pacific league 7. It was perfect for the chilly day outside chasing around the toddlebeast saving him from crazy cousins.

Im not entirely sure why i even have any non pavos since that is all we ever reach for <3

Farrand Soir 2

Vintage and modern shabby chic all at the same time. Soapy with great grip and beautiful drape. I have found my wrapping soulmate. A perfect heather grey with beautiful sheen. It's been my everyday, all day wrap since it arrived a week ago. The size and wrapping qualities make a perfect pair ! I love how lighting changes the color that it reads in pictures and in person. A gorgeous Ivory warp with a fill of black and optic white threads makes for one of the prettiest most unique pavo’s in my opinion. <3

Pavo textiles Lovebirds Sapphire

Soapy perfection ! This wrap is amazing it has the perfect amount of stretch and glide, just enough grip and is amazingly cushy on the shoulders. When wrapping you automatically get perfect effortless pleats. Lovebirds is an absolute joy to wrap with! If you are thinking of getting a lovebirds don't hesitate ! Buy one immediately ! If your not thinking of buying a lovebirds wrap because the pattern is not for you ? Just give them a chance ! The pattern is elegant and relaxed and the wrapping qualities are out of this world ! Sapphire holds my heart close but there are many gorgeous colorways to choose from! So take your pick. -xoxo The crazy bird lady ! <3

A mini mini color comparison of Pavo textiles Lovebirds

Both size 7

Top wrap: Colorway is Sargasso Sea

Bottom wrap: Colorway is Sapphire

Lovebirds is a fantastic wrap but I'll post a mini blog on that later ! Mainly I wanted to share color comparison! SS is more of a blue sea foamy green (which is probably why its named Sargasso Sea) and sapphire is a true gorgeous "sapphire" blue (again with the name thing) ! Both are woven on an ivory warp, Sapphire is a cobalt and black fill while Sargasso Sea is a clean green and blue fill. SS is a traveler and sapphire is a recent acquisition! It was a tough and close call on which lovebirds I would get and while SS is gorgeous I am so glad that we chose sapphire it melts with our stash perfectly and doesn't wash us out like SS does!

Enjoy the photos and for anyone debating on which Colorway of lovebirds you want you can clearly see that there is no wrong choice !

I figured I should start this mini blogging journey where my love is the greatest.

Pavo Textiles Sketchy.

Brand:Pavo Textiles (Guild) Wrap: Texture series: Sketchy Size: 6 ( The only size Sketchy was released in)

Love Story: When sketchy released I was on vacation in California and had never scored a direct from Pavo wrap. I was also relatively new to Pavo and I hadn't made many friends in the baby wearing world yet. I just sort of lurked about in the Pavo chatter group ( The Pavo Society) . I saw pictures of sketchy and I was instantly & madly in love ! I had quite a few pavo's (Not as many as I do now because well #PavoisAddicting). I tried to score and failed well to put it mildly miserably! I instantly put out my Diso  in the ISO album and waited and kept on and kept on waiting ! Finally after the dust settled someone reached out to me and asked if I wanted to buy sketchy ! I instantly said yes and sent the money! Fast forward USPS priority shipping days and it was here ! My dream wrap ! I pulled it out and was immediately overwhelmed ! As a fairly new wrapper I was facing a whole new level of texture and had never broken in a Pavo wrap before. I was discouraged to say the least but I kept trying bought more pavos and not soon after IBC 2014 was happening right out my back door in Tempe, Arizona ! I attended and finally met babywearing friends. So many new and exciting doors opened up before me and I ignorantly sold sketchy to have money for all of the shiny new things not knowing that I was letting go of the wrap that truly held my heart. I got home and I instantly regretted what I had done. Well after many missed a sketchy, another baby, many babywearing friends made and ALOT of pavo's in-between an amazing mom reached out to me to answer my desperate pleadings for sketchy ! I bought it again instantly. I am so grateful to have sketchy back in my stash but I am even more appreciative of the friendship I gained through him! Some of us wrappers get very emotional about our wraps and sketchy can evoke some deep emotions. This wrap embodies who I am and who I want to be not only as a mom but as a woman! It is edgy, artistic, comforting and most of all special.

Wrapping qualities: Sketchy's wrapping qualities are so unique! Uneven texture throughout the wrap due to the pattern. Great Grip and glide! Soapier on the right side and slightly drier on the reverse. It has a Velcro affect and never slips out of place once wrapped. Very Moldable and it falls perfectly in the middle of the thick to thin spectrum. Perfect stretch. I also find it dense and airy all at the same time which I know is contradicting but when I fondle it (which I do often) the space without texture feels dense and the actual texture design feels slightly airy.

All in all sketchy is my unicorn and I am truly blessed to own such textile perfection!
