//I.... have been gone for a long time. I’m sorry. I said I was going to do things here after I came back last time, and I didn’t. The last few months have been something of an emotional roller coaster that I don’t particularly plan to get into the specifics of on my dashboard. It seems, however, I’ve developed a habit of making a come back on old blogs lately (I just rebooted one in another fandom after two years of inactivity). The plan is to finish up with that blog and get it running. I’ve been missing Dragon Age, though, and particularly Eirlana, so I think I’ll be coming back soon.

Until then, consider this a hiatus. Again, I’m sorry to people who were expecting starters from me. I don’t want to make any promises at the moment, because I haven’t any concrete plans for this blog quite yet. Thank you all for your patience.

Honestly, without really getting to know Eirlana, one wouldn’t know that she carries her own weight in emotional baggage. It’s mostly because she knows how to deal with it in a healthy way (for the most part), and it helps that she has an entire organization of people who share similar experiences as her to lean on.

She doesn’t talk much about the things going on in her head because, in spite of the fact she can cope fairly well, they’re still not fun to talk about. Not to mention she doesn’t much fancy the idea of dumping that onto someone else without being sure they sincerely want to hear it. But she’s not really a closed book (or an entirely open one) either because she enjoys expressing herself and connecting with people.

Of course, sometimes she does bottle things up when she shouldn’t as many people are prone to do. And she has her bad days like anyone else. It’s only that nothing about her daily demeanor suggests that she’s been to hell and back.

Most of them were only following the people they trusted, and she feels an ache in her heart to know how they were misled.
