Dear Mr. Kash Patel - FBI Director
I am sending you information about Waldo Rujano Mora, a well-known Venezuelan cattle rancher, who has been linked to money laundering activities and having maintained financial relationships with the drug trafficker known as "Ñeñe" Hernández, who was assassinated in Brazil.
In Venezuela, given the political situation and because it is a narco-state, it has not been possible to open an investigation into this case, which is why we decided to bring it to your consideration.
We are willing to cooperate to the best of our ability so that this case is clarified and those responsible face the laws in the United States.
Very cordially,
WALDO RUJANO MORA: THE KING OF MONEY LAUNDERING
Waldo Rujano Mora, Venezuelan, ID No. 5,730,063, father of Vicente Rujano Garófalo—presumed frontman for the assassinated Colombian drug trafficker José Guillermo “Neñe” Hernández—has amassed a fortune under strange conditions in recent years. It is presumed that this businessman from the state of Tachira could be connected to international drug trafficking and money laundering mafias.
Waldo Mora Rujano is also one of the main financiers of certain politicians based in the state of Tachira on the border with Colombia.
Waldo Rujano Mora is legally married to Gisela Garófalo Contreras. They are the parents of Vicente—partner of José Guillermo "Neñe" Hernández—and Andrea Rujano Garófalo, the latter a cosmetic doctor and owner of the hair transplant clinic «Capil Clinic», located in San Cristóbal, Venezuela.
Rujano owns companies in Venezuela such as Disprogata C.A. and Rujano GAP. He also owns the company Carnes Grin and red Brahman cattle ranches in Colombia.
In Panama, he owns the company Global Enterprise Wavg, Incy de Track Industries, S.A., with which he handles large amounts of dollars that are presumed to be the product of drug money laundering.
Between 2013 and 2019, Waldo Rujano Mora's son, Vicente Rujano Garófalo, together with his sister Andrea and lawyer Germán De Jesús Rincón Montilla, established nearly 60 companies in Florida, United States. Many of these companies have names that refer to locations in the state of Táchira, such as Capacho LLC or Abejales LLC.
The Rujano family owns more than one hundred properties in the United States, most of which are for rent. This proliferation of real estate investments coincides temporally with the period in which they received preferential foreign currency from the now-defunct National Foreign Trade Center (CENCOEX) in Venezuela, which reinforces suspicions about possible money laundering operations.
Germán Rincón Montilla, a former Venezuelan public official sanctioned by the Comptroller General of the Republic for irregularities during his tenure at a state bank, appears as the administrator of these companies in Florida.
Waldo Rujano Mora was the main financier of Laidy Gómez's electoral campaign in 2017. To finance Gómez's campaign, the mother of his youngest daughter, Waldo Rujano Mora, used his contacts with Colombian drug trafficker José "Neñe" Hernández, his son Vicente Rujano Garófalo's business partner.
El Ñeñe Hernández was assassinated on May 2, 2019, in Brazil. This means that Laidy Gómez received drug money in her 2017 electoral campaign.
Waldo Rujano Mora's relationship with former governor Laidy Gómez dates back to 2013. Mora also financed Gómez's campaign for the National Assembly in 2015. The financing of Laidy Gómez's campaign for the governorship of Táchira in 2017 allowed Waldo Rujano Mora to take control of the ACCION DEMOCRATICA party in the state of Tachira, becoming the behind-the-scenes boss of that political party.
Waldo Rujano Mora's economic power, bolstered by dirty money from his relationship with drug trafficker José Guillermo «Neñe» Hernández, meant that the press did not pay attention to the campaign against Gómez.
Through Waldo Rujano Mora, Colombian drug trafficker José Guillermo "Neñe" Hernández invested more than ONE MILLION DOLLARS (USD 1,000,000.00) in Gómez's electoral campaign in 2017. The money would have been delivered by the deceased Colombian drug trafficker José Guillermo «Neñe» Hernández to Vicente Rujano Garófalo.
There are even versions of an alleged meeting in Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia, between drug trafficker Hernández and former governor Gómez.
The relationship between drug trafficker José Guillermo «Neñe» Hernández, who delivered the money for Laidy Gómez's campaign in Táchira, was always carried out by Waldo's son, Vicente Rujano Garófalo, a Venezuelan businessman whose career has been marked by a suspicious rise in the business world. Waldo Rujano Mora, Vicente's father, appears in several photos and videos sharing with the wife of Colombian drug trafficker José Guillermo «Neñe» Hernández and his entourage.
Intelligence reports indicate that the Rujano Garófalo family met weekly at a farm in Bucaramanga with the deceased «Neñe» Hernández, a key figure in Colombian drug trafficking. There are photographs and videos that show the close relationship between these people. Hernández was the one who introduced the Rujanos to the cattle world in Colombia.
