If anybody’s interested, I’m mostly active on a site called Toonator.com! It’s a really cool place to make art and animations, and it’s the first taste of social media that I’ve had since I was 10. Here’s a recent animation from my account AnnikatheLlama. :D
I keep getting nostalgic thinking about toonator, ,, ,,, I miss that hellsite ngl but I'm glad its gone because there was just. a lot 😭
Like i kinda wished they didn't just nuke the whole thing without warning or at least made it read-only :(((( bc of that all my old art is lost media now (it kinda pisses me off that wayback doesn't have the images/animations saved properly too like man. ... . . .. . ........... if only yk)

So sad that I fell off Toon tho bc i highly doubt anyone would remember who I was highkey, I was not a part of the cool people LMAO 💔 but also tbf i had 10 million accounts for some reason HELPP,, so maybe i'd get recognized from certain accounts who knows lmfao (one of the main was VanillaTwilight YES it was based off the song 😿)
Still tho I had some friends on there and I remember having fun talking w them or drawing each others ocs :( i remember there was this one site that was like magma but it was before magma was ever a thing and I drew ponies and comics with this one user I cant rememeber the username for the life of me.. but they were a really good artist omfg. I have a list of them too bc just keeping it in my head drove me crazy

I wasn't friends w them but OMFG HER ART WAS GODLIKE AND WAS ONE OF THE MAIN PPL THERE THAT INSPIRED ME TO GET BETTER AT ART HOLLYYYYY i saved some of it bc I was so enamored and i literally cannot even try to search for them bc her usernames was ChineseTea and Bubbletea like... how am i supposed to, find them :( I remember one time I made another #account maybe in 2020? 2022? idk but somewhere there just for fun and they saID THEY LIKED MY ARTSTYLE 😭😭😭😭😭 I WAS SO HAPPY???? AND THEY DREW MY OC??? LIKE???? OMFG WHATT Im so upset tho bc she asked if I had any socials and I fucking. didn't so I said NO BUT LIKE IWAS. SO CLOSE. TO KEEPING CONTACT MAYBE OR AT LEAST SEEING MORE OF THEIR ART???? Gawd. what a time.
But like, Toonator was one of the main reasons I wanted to make art and animate fr like hello one of my first ocs was made on toon and the first art of them can only be found on Toon which doesn't exist anymore, i was on that site almost the whole damn day refreshing the page and drawing and shit. I still recall when Toonator would go down sometimes we'd all migrate to multator (russian/og version of Toonator) lolll
I won't deny though the moderation on that site was absolute ass LOLL there were a lot of people on there that was probably around the same age as me when I first joined that should NOT have been seeing some of the things on there uhmm. yeah. one of the reasons why I'm glad its dead now.
ANYWAY THOUGH 💀 I have so many stories from Toonator but this is getting so long so idk maybe if I get nostalgic again I'll talk about it but yeah
I was B1uMoonGirl on toonator! Are you in the nostalgia discord server yet? It's called Toonator Afterlife. There's also the official one but you can't get into it anymore if you weren't before the site went down
