You will have to do better than that if you want a place on this ship. Keep your eyes up!
Does that imply that you have a place on a ship?

fire-and-blood-rhaella:
āI really wish people would stop spreading rumours about my sister.ā
You know, if you stop speaking to people at court your life will become far more enjoyable.
harragsharp:
āThe Silence?ā Harr furrowed his eyebrows, trying to remember if that floating hellhole had drifted anywhere near Lordsport or any of the ports he had been in during this search.Ā āIāve nae see it docked aā Lordsport, nae Lannisport, but we spotted somethinā off the Redwyne Straits, out in tha Dornish Sea. Looked like one aā our ships, ye ken? But all mah part oā the fleet was behindā¦.couldae been a mirage, but I dunnae. Fuck, if tha cuntās planninā on makinā a comebackā¦.ā
Asha nodded along. She hadnāt really expected Euron to be so bold as to dock at Lordsport, and with Ironborn men swarming Lannisport half the time she hadnāt expected him there either. But the Redwyne Strait... āTheon was planning a trip to Oldtown last we spoke. He could have been taken once we got there. He was making a stink about trying to get out of Kingās Landing as well, so it could have been common knowledge that he was on his way south.ā She tried to put as much courage in her voice as possible, but it was all fake.Ā āGods help him if he steps one foot on any of these islands.ā
harragsharp:
āTaken by an Ironborn?ā Harrās eyebrows furrowed as he frowned, sitting up right.Ā āAlright, nae any of us like tha cunt but weād nae fuckinā keep him in the hold and cut bits awf him.ā
āHarr, I spent the last three months unable to think of anyone else. Thereās only one Ironborn who would directly gain from Theonās death, and only one sick enough to do it.ā She sat up as well and leaned against the wall, not bothering to cover herself with the sheet anymore. For awhile she fiddled with her thumbs silently. āWhen was the last time you saw the Silence docked at Lordsport?ā
harragsharp:
As tae be expectedā¦..itās alright, itās alrightā¦..we need tae up our efforts, do we nae? Comb tha Greenland, head tae tail, turn it inside outā¦.fuckinā hell, who do these cunts think they are?
She shook her head.Ā āWeĀ checked the mainland. The King checked the mainland. The note talked about the Iron Price...I think he was taken by an Ironborn. I think heās on a ship. And if thatās the case...ā She took a deep breath,Ā āthings get a lot more complicated.ā
harragsharp:
Ay, ay, steady nowā¦.. He presses a kiss to her forehead and pulls her a little closer. Then she speaks, and his eyes widen.
Inside was Theon? Wha? Ā How big was the fuckinā box?
Ohā¦.you meanā¦..fuck.
Just...parts and bits and pieces but the note said it was him and Iāve spent so long looking for him and some bastard has him or killed him and I donāt know and fuck but I care about my fucking greenlander brother.
harragsharp:
He wraps his arm around her, pulling her close.
Aye, but come on, lass. Ye can tell me anythinā, ye ken tha, captain?
Tearing up, she takes a deep breath and curls into his side.Ā
The night I got home, I went directly to my quarters at Pyke. And there was a box there, and a key, and a note. And when I unlocked it, inside was --
She chokes and lets out a sob.
--Inside was Theon.
harragsharp
Why ever nae?
I havenāt been myself since I got back to the Islands, which Iām sure you noticed. But I didnāt tell you why.
harragsharp:
He joins her, settling between her legs.
Aye, lass, maybe I ought tae do so.
-----FADE TO BLACK------
*some frick-fracking later, lying in bed*
This canāt go on.Ā
harragsharp:
Iād almost be offended if it were nae ye, Asha.
Naked, he pads across the deck of her captainās quarters toward her, smirking.
And yeād be surprisedā¦.Iāve had a lot of lasses whilst weāve been gone from home.
She lies down on the bed in nothing but her underclothes.Ā
I never said you havenāt had anything, just that you havenāt had better.
And if youāre offended, maybe you ought to prove what you can do.
harragsharp:
He smirks, before pulling down his breeches, unashamed.
Aye, tha alright fer ye, lass?
Iāve had better.
She begins to unclasp the buttons on her top and slides it off her shoulders.Ā
But I know you havenāt.
Why donāt you show it off, then? We havenāt anything better to do.
Eventually, sheād had to admit that she was wasting her time. It had been months since the war, months since sheād seen Harr or the Goodbrothers or any of her crew. Sheād traveled back and forth across Westeros, from the wall to Seaguard, twice to Harrenhal, to Stormās End,Ā and worthless months in Kingās Landing. All her time spent was for naught; she had no more information about Theon now than she had when she set sail from Pyke, leaving Harr behind with enough grief for the both of them.Ā
Stood at the head of the ship on itās way back to the Iron Islands, letting her eyes glaze over as the sea stretched out for miles ahead. It was comfortable to be on the water again, even if it wasnāt her ship. Sheād be back there soon enough.Ā
It was odd, she thought, that her perception of Theon had changed so much through her search. She once would have been the first to complain about him, and indeed sheād assumed the worst when he first went missing. But slowly she became the one to defend Theon from the words of those like Quenten Banefort and Leonette Tyrell. She wrinkled her nose at the thought of them and spat.Ā
She didnāt know if Theon was dead or dying or where he was or even where he might have been. The next evening, when she left the boat and stepped off in her home again, it struck her that it had been even longer since Theon had seen these boats lined up along the dock with Pyke rising in the distance. She walked down the rows of ships looking for her Uncle Victarionās, but she didnāt expect to see it. Heād taken the lead of the search party along the coast. Sheād asked Harr to keep a watch on things, but she knew he wouldnāt be at Pyke. She didnāt even question where Damphair was, since there was no hope of finding him anyway.Ā
Sullen and dejected, Asha began the trek back to the castle without bothering to take a horse. The moon was directly overhead by the time she reached the gates. The courtyard was nearly empty, save for a few kitchenhands already running about preparing a morning meal. She went straight to her quarters.Ā
When she opened the door, the pleasant surprise of a made bed and a cleaned room awaited her. On the table beside her bed sat a rather large wooden box ornately decorated with swirls that became the arms of a kraken at the center of the lid. Beside it lay an envelope. It was unopened, but the wax showed no seal. She picked it up and, surprised by its weight, opened it carefully. An iron key fell out onto the floor with a clang, and she read as she bent down to pick it up.
Even Lord Greyjoy never learned to pay the Iron Price, but I did. In fact, I won these trinkets for you, Asha, with my own two hands. Enjoy.
She could hear her heartbeat pounding in her ears. Her breath stopped then started again, too fast. She felt dizzy. The light from the tapers on the walls flickered, and she blinked quickly. With some difficulty because of her shaking hands, she placed the key into the matching iron lock on the box and turned it.Ā
She closed her eyes and slowly lifted the lid, unsure of what evil awaited her inside until the smell of rot slammed itself into her nose, knocking her eyes open. She looked, she screamed, she tried to close the box as she turned to run away. She tripped over the leg of the bed.Ā
She screamed again. Her head hit the floor.
Cost depends on what the service is, silence⦠well, everyone has their secrets. Iām not in the business of selling āem. What can I do for you?
The Tyrells think theyāre roses but theyāre really just snakes in the grass. I donāt trust them. I need you get into that wedding, speak to as many Tyrells as possible, and find out whatever you can about Theon. But you must be discreet. Under no circumstances should they suspect Iām interested, nor should it feel like an interrogation. A conversation topic, perhaps.Ā
āMany things can be said about Casterly Rock.. but the sweets here are heavenly.ā
Havenāt tried them. Thatās one lock Iāve yet to pick.
Greyjoy. As it happens, Iām not. Something you need from me?
Depends on how much it costs to buy your service and your silence.
I care about Theon.I wish I could help him. I donāt understand how he just disappeared. Who rules the Iron Islands now? Heās been gone for a few moons now. We had always promised that we would tell each other when we were betrothed.
Gods, Iām sorry. I sound stupid.Ā
I canāt believe iām saying this, but I do too. Itās getting to a point where Iām starting to believe less and less that heāll be himself when we find him. But every trail is cold. Iāve run the Iron Islands, mostly. I was there until the Wall, and I led our forces there. I havenāt been back since, so Iāve left things to my uncle Rodrik Harlaw and Harr Sharp. Heās not a good man, but heās a good friend. You donāt sound stupid. Weāre both just...drained.
Betrothed?
