Omg, now I want to read Peter bursting out in tears when Tony calls him a slut in the heat of the moment and Tony being completely shocked as he tries to calm his sensitive, little spider down ♡
I absolutely love this prompt, thank you for kicking me into actually writing something for once!
That he's with Peter is a rather new situation and sometimes, well, sometimes Tony forgets that he's not with someone his own age or even in their thirties. It doesn't happen on purpose, bit it's just something he can't prevent sometimes, mainly because Tony is used to his relationships being no more than quick affairs that mostly consist of only one thing: sex.
Not that Peter isn't there for sex too, the opposite is true, actually. Tony quickly realized that his sweet boyfriend loves sex just as much as he does, but he has to be careful with him. He has to be slow, teaching him, guiding him through this new and exciting experience every time they try something new.
Even if it's different though, Tony loves it and it brings them so much closer together because it's almost like he's doing these things for the first time himself. Which is true, in a way, because everything he does with Peter feels like a new adventure and like something new and exciting.
So, Tony should know to be careful and considerate and usually he is, making sure to explain things and let Peter know that it's fine if he doesn't like what they're doing - so far he always did, which is just perfect in Tony's eyes. That he still messes up eventually is something he should have considered, but a rather boring party with a little too much alcohol left his brain functions limited when he is finally with Peter to end the night properly.
Despite his intoxication, everything goes well until they're both starting to get a little lost in the moment. Then, Peter's writhing and moans have Tony go harder on his sweet boy, just like Peter loves it, but his tongue unfortunately didn't get the memo that this is enough.
"That's it, you like that, you little slut, don't you?" Tony growls and there's only a split second between his words and Peter's reaction, but it's enough for even Tony's half-online brain to register he fucked up.
Peter suddenly stills and falls silent, turning his head and looking at Tony with the utmost confusion in his eyes. "W-What?" he asks and that's all it takes for Tony to be sober again immediately. "Why would you say that?"
"Shit, baby, I'm sorry," Tony hisses, but he already sees the tears building up in Peter's eyes. That's not good, fuck, that's bad.
"I-I'm not a-a slut!" Peter sniffs and then the waterworks break and he starts sobbing, ending any and all sex they're having that night.
"Of course you're not, baby, I'm sorry," Tony apologizes again and pulls back to lay down next to Peter and pull him into his arms. The poor thing is shaking and sobbing against his chest and it's everything as heartbreaking as it's shocking.
"Why did you… did you say something like that!" Peter cries, clutching at Tony's chest and fuck, Tony's heart aches.
"I'm sorry, Petey, hey, look at me darling." Tony cups Peter's face and wipes some tears off his cheeks, hating how crushed and hurt his wonderful boyfriend looks. "You're not a slut, of course not. I forgot myself there, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that."
"B-But why?" Peter sobs, trying to shake his head despite Tony holding his face. "I was being good, I didn't do anything wrong!"
"Shh, of course you didn't," Tony coos and presses a kiss to Peter's forehead. "I did something wrong, okay? I didn't think, it just slipped out. I didn't actually mean it, I promise."
Tony can't hide his shock about Peter's reaction fully, his hands trembling slightly when he pulls Peter closer again, but he tries to stay calm because one of them has to. It takes long before Peter stops crying, but Tony keeps assuring him that he's nothing but a good boy, that he loves him and that he's so fucking sorry, and when the sobs finally turn into quiet sniffling, it's like a huge stone drops from his chest.
"I'm sorry for upsetting you so much, my little spider," Tony whispers, his face still buried in Peter's soft curls.
"It's okay," Peter sniffs and wipes his eyes slowly. "I'm okay… sorry for… for freaking out like that…"
"Baby, no," Tony says and shakes his head. He pushes Peter back enough to look at him and god, he feels so guilty for this whole thing. "It's my fault, okay? That's nothing to just throw at you, I'm sorry for saying that. Don't be mad, please?"
"I'm not mad, promised," Peter says and looks up through tear wet lashes. "You really didn't mean it, right? You… you don't think I'm a slut?"
"I would never think you're a slut, baby," Tony assures him as serious as he can. "I got a bit overboard, it was just dirty talk, that's it. I didn't mean it serious."
Peter nods and really looks relieved at Tony's words when he leans back against his chest and sighs. "I'm glad you don't," he whispers. "And I'm sorry for ruining the evening like that."
"You didn't ruin anything, I promise," Tony says and gently kisses Peter's head. "I'd rather stop than do something that upsets you or makes you uncomfortable. You're more important to me than sex, okay?"
"But… you still like having sex with me, right?" Peter asks as sweet as ever and Tony can't help but chuckle.
"Always, Petey," he says with a grin. "And I won't say something like that again, no worries."
"I mean… if I know you don't mean it I don't mind trying it sometime? But… not tonight."
"No, tonight I'll make sure to keep you close because I want to hold my sweet boy," Tony sighs, relieved that Peter doesn't completely dismiss the idea of dirty talk. But he's right, tonight isn't the time for it. Tonight, he will make sure Peter knows that he loves him.
"I like it when you hold me," Peter sighs softly and nuzzles his face against Tony's chest. "You're always so warm and I feel safe with you."
"I'm glad you do because I want you to feel safe," Tony whispers and pulls the blanket over the two of them. "I love you so much, baby."
"I love you too, Tony," Peter whispers back, wrapping his arms around him.
Tony kisses Peter's head again, glad that this didn't escalate any further. He'd hate to hurt his wonderful boy like that, nothing will ever be worth that.
