baby ellerie growing | five months

ellerie turned 5 months yesterday! she is close to rolling over. loves to be sitting up so she can observe things, especially our cats. also likes to stick out her tongue and wiggle her eyebrows at us. she smiles to familiar voices. always chomping on her fists and little fingers. becomes an expert in blowing raspberries.

22 weeks goes by in the blink of an eye! time needs to stop like NOW.

can't believe our little one is 4 months already! here's what she is up to: weights in 6.71 kg. super drooly and constantly eating her left hand (are they signs of teething?). giggles when she's being tickled on the neck (but not armpits...that's kinda strange!). loves seeing her own reflection in the mirror. and keeps waving her legs up on the air. as she moves a lot it's getting really hard to take pictures for her these days...

we have spent 3 months with ellerie already!

she's getting more entertaining by the day. loves it when we talk to her and now has a variety of ahs, coos and ohs in her vocabulary. she's slowly losing the grasp reflex and starting to grab things like the burp clothes and blankets. she has a bit of control over her a chubby arms lately and always want to be sitting.

on the flip side, ellerie hates tummy time. she's super fussy during feeding these few days and it's getting me worried 😔

today marks two whole months with this little miss at our side.

starting from the past week she’s slept 7 hours straight at night (sanity is returning, yay!) and naps 4-5 times during the day. loves to coo and smile, be close to us, and sometimes suck on her left hand. she’s 5.64 kg now and wearing 3-6 months clothing (!!!). her extra chin and chub rolls are as scrumptious as they look 😍

ellerie turns one month old this week.

eating lots and growing big: she's 4.39 kg now and 0-3 months clothing is already starting to fit! she’s showing glimpses of gaining more head control, that she’s going to smile any day now and that she may sleep a little longer at night.

it still amazes me that all these happen so quickly!

our sweet girl is finally here and we are over the moon!

baby ellerie was born on Sept 21st morning after 6 hours of back labor. she weighs 3.12kg and we love every bit of her 💕

pin to cook // kimchi stew with pork and eggplant

this dish may not look impressive but it tasted fantastic - kimchi and fatty pork is such a perfect match! we basically followed this recipe by candice kitchen, just skipped the cooking sake and replaced the tofu puff with shirataki noodles to make it healthier. can't wait to make it again!

nine month belly shot

and just like that we have made it to the FINAL month!

at 36 weeks, i'm feeling huge (like a whale) and even my pregnancy jeans are getting tight. despite all the aches, mood swings and restless nights, i'm sure i will miss this babybump and the dance parties inside my belly though. the journey of pregnancy is just crazy and amazing at the same time!

my sweet baby girl, keep on growing just a little longer, then come on out so we can play! mama loves you ♡
