Fun day of pet portraits for the humane society today!

The humane society is doing another charity event and asked me back to do pet portraits. Day's just about to start and I'm super excited!!! I did my babies for advertising and the director snuck in early to get their pets done haha

Still thinking about the fic I posted the other day and wanted to make my first ever moodboard for Surya & Shiloh, and the events of that night. <3

The Coral Island Fandom may be small but holy crap is it mighty! The reception to my Surya fics on AO3 has been nothing short of inspiring. And humbling. Ironically I'm at a loss for words for how amazing and kind and supportive y'all are!! I'm shouting out the biggest thank you to every one of you!!!

I'm working on another Surya one shot and I have never been more proud than when this dialogue just came out of me:

“Oh uh nothing!” came his panicked reply. “It's um, just getting messy in here.” A pause. Then, “WITH THE WATER! From the whole falling in the ocean thing. Nothing weird!”

The humane society art show was this past weekend - my friend and I had a table there drawing ugly pet portraits. It was a smashing success and we were so busy I barely had time to snap a couple photos. We're hopeful our little booth can become a regular thing at their charity events.

My local humane society has an upcoming local art auction coming up so I painted a kitty. :)
