Revenant Hunter questions
A'ight people were interested so here we go! Character building questions for revenant hunters! Answer some, answer 'em all, this is just to get the gears turning. Be as vague or as detailed as you like!
Where are they from? If not the Frontier, how did they end up there?
Do they have any family? Old friends? What, if anything, happened to them?
How did they become a revenant hunter in the first place? How long have they been one?
Why are they a hunter? Have they ever considered abandoning the profession?
Have they ever been affiliated with the Association, or were they always freelance?
Have they always been hunting alone? If yes, why, and if no, what happened to the people they used to work with?
What's their fighting style? Do they switch it up or stick with the tried-and-true? Does this change over time?
How confident are they in their skills?
What's their opinion on revenants before the game starts?
What are their greatest strengths?
What are their biggest weaknesses?
Talk about a random quirk or habit of theirs!
How well do they know the Frontier?
How did they end up on that island evacuating those people? How did they die?
How did they handle the news that they died? What about being told that they were now sharing a heart with a stranger?
How much of their memories did they actually lose during the death-and-revival process? Did anything come back?
Do they trust everyone at MagMell? Why or why not?
How dedicated are they to following Lavinia's orders?
What sort of gifts would be their favorites? What would they turn down?
What kind of food do they like? Dislike?
Do they have any hobbies that aren't related to hunting?
Did they know anything about the heroes before jumping back into the past to meet them? Ex had they heard of Josee's frenzy, or Holly's medical tragedy? Did that color their expectations going to meet these people?
Which partners do they get along with best? Why?
Which partner do they have the strongest platonic bond with?
Which partners do they get along with the least? Why?
How good are they at keeping the time travel thing a secret?
How forthcoming are they with people about their own past? Is there someone in particular they find easier to talk about it with, or something they just refuse to?
How do they try to handle their duty? Do they try not to think about how they're going to have to kill the heroes they're befriending, or is that always in the back of their mind? How well do they bounce back from the hero fights?
Do they have any keepsakes from their friends, past or present?
How good are they at thinking through the consequences of the timeline changes they're making? Do they try to plan for things that might go wrong, or are they just winging it and hoping for the best?
What's their opinion on the Association of the past? On Gobbo and Oskar?
Do the changes they make to the timeline have any direct effect on them? Ex a family member that died is now alive, or their hometown is un-destroyed, that sort of thing
Is their any event from their own past they would go back and change if given the chance?
How do they handle the death of all revenants? Did they see it coming? Why do they take Zenon's offer to try again?
Did they plan on becoming part of the seal, or was that a heat-of-the-moment decision?
How do they feel about changing the timeline and essentially erasing the world they lived in? Do they regret it in any capacity?
How well do they adjust to the new timeline?
Do they ever forgive Valentin and Lavinia? Why or why not?
What do they do when all the dust settles and their duty is done? How do they handle peace?
